December Hive Power Up Day and Monthly Goals

As usual, the first of the month is it means it's time for another Hive Power Up Day. So it's time to check up on my goals and make sure to set my next month's goal.

Hive Power Up Day

More information about Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) can be found at the November HPUD by "@"traciyork. I didn't see an updated one for December but I haven't heard about it being changed so I am not sure if it's still valid. I don't really qualify for rewards anymore but I will still power up each month as part of my general monthly task. This month, I earned 250 HP and it's slightly better than last month. With 2 months left, 5k still seems a little bit far off. It's not like it's impossible but I will see how things go.

My current HP before powering up is 4,733 HP and I plan on powering up 50 HIVE this month. The results of this can be seen in the picture below and here is the transaction link.

Follow up on my Saturday Saver's Challenge for 2022 and I haven't been able to collect as much HBD lately due to the price drop in Hive. So I just moved 79 HBD to the savings and I believe that the rest can be covered by some of the additional HBD adds at the beginning of the year.

Here I will set my goals for the month and review my previous month's goals.

Previous Month Summary

Here I will review the goals I set for my November goals.

I took part in Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) and staked the 200 LEO I need for my goal. I didn't get any lucky delegation wins this month but it still adds up over time. In terms of my post, I did manage to get the 3 posts per week done without too many issues. I did forget to post my the most recent season report card as it slipped my mind but I can't do anything about something that has already passed.

I was not able to get my INDEX orders filled but I did leave some orders in case they do get filled. I did do my monthly CUB add and filled in what I was missing for the October as well in this post. As a reminder, you should migrate your funds over to the new CUB kingdom if you haven't already.

I am still able to get that Splinterlands chests without that many issues but my time in Rising Star has been bad. I haven't been going on as much and I keep forgetting it. I have been pushed out of the top 100 a few times so I can't say I did manage to accomplish that goal.

December goals

I will just use the monthly goals as usual because I haven't set any yearly goals.

  1. 3 Blog Posts a week (Actifit does not count for this)
  2. 1,000 comments for the month
  3. 5,000 HP
  4. 3,850 Leo Power Staked (add 150 LEO)
  5. Buy 25 INDEX
  6. Invest at least 200 LEO to the CUB-related Defi platforms
  7. Maintain top 100 rank in Rising Star
  8. Get at least 1 chest per day for Splinterlands focus

The reasoning for these can be found in my January goals. For the most part, I just plan on continuing these goals as they seem manageable.

Conclusion

Life is tough as work is taking up most of my time but I powered up and set my goals for the upcoming month.
