Dropping your own post links in other people's comment sections is probably a bad idea. It's like your begging for votes and some people frown upon it. I highly suggest using Listnerds for getting more views. As a free member, you get free mail each week and you get MAIL tokens by reading people's mail. It has a decent amount of people from Hive so I think that could help on the engagement front if it's a good post.
