I think they are to avoid all the sanctions being imposed by other countries. In a way, I guess it's because it's far easier than getting cut off from parts of the system. At the same time, it's easier to hide the transactions as ones from Russia when they are being done.

They are facing problems due to sanctions. If they intend to use crypto from a centralized viewpoint, it will turn into the old system. Let's see which way Russia makes its move.

It's a centralized system with access to a decentralized system. So I think Russia won't really care because of that interface. It will only affect the people using the Russian crypto systems.
