Five Reasons Why I'm a Maniac

For those who don't know how I roll, I'm full of energy and positive as hell and I go from zero to a hundred when things get me excited - BUT - very few things do.

Back in the day, what got me excited would kill the average person. I'm exaggerating, but life in the streets and the party scene can take a person out if they let it go beyond a point of no return.

Luckily, I saw the writing on the wall a few times along the way to wipe that out of my system. So I battled staying ahead of shit like that. That was years ago, but you kind of get into a mental stew once in a while. It's part of who you are if you lived it.

So past all that, I found my health an fitness journey and went all in and it's who I am today, although I'm battling the time off due to the accident; but in a few weeks I will be posting the shit of @actifit with what I did to torture my body that day lol.

But the most impactful moment that changed my life once again and it couldn't have come at a better time is being on HIVE. During my time on HIVE, I've battled COVID, a bad hamstring injury and the car accident and throughout those situations I still remained active on HIVE. I haven't missed a day since February 2021.

Being on HIVE there are moments or platforms that have made a huge difference for me.

One of those is The Cryptomaniacs podcast.

Now, some folks may say; what could a podcast do to make an impact on a person?

Well, that is simple for me to answer and here are 5 reasons why I'm a maniac:

  1. The hosts: @jongolson and @taskmaster4450le

I've been following Jon way before blockchains, crypto or HIVE was ever mentioned in anything we were involved in when it came to online marketing. He has always been above board and I trust him. Rarely, have I seen him not walk the walk when he is passionate about something. He just doesn't talk about it. Needless to say, the guy has been doing streams for years, having a podcast on the blockchain is a no-brainer. His passion for this blockchain keeps me motivated.

Taskmaster is one of those guys that you want to sit down and have a beer with and just frickin shoot the breeze and know that his passion for HIVE is unquestioned. His efforts and knowledge makes me feel comfortable knowing I'm where I should be.

Having these two awesome dudes as hosts of The Cryptomaniacs makes it a solid show.

  1. The guests - I learn something new every time they bring on legendary HIVERS and this week will have two of them in @brianoflondon and @khaleelkazi and come on they have had everyone from @theycallmedan to @thelogicaldude - way too many to keep on going, but always stoked to see who they will have as a guest.

  2. My streak - ok, this is more on the selfish side. I haven't missed an episode Tuesdays or Fridays and only one time had I needed to watch a replay because I missed a live episode. One Time! But with that said, never missed an episode

  3. The Q&A - except for a few Friday's where they brought a guest on like this upcoming Friday, Fridays are when the guys answer questions from folks who leave them at @ctpchat and yet again more opportunities to learn something new. Until now, they never NOT try to tackle each question. Even if they have to split it into two episodes, they answer them all and are honest if they can't. No bullshit zone.

  4. I WAS A GUEST! - Episode 102 - when I tell you that I was blown away by being asked because of my passion for ListNerds and how much effort I put into doing my part to scream loud and proud about it they provided me the platform to tell it from my point of view. FYI - I would still be a fan whether they had asked me to be on as a guest or not.

The question is, who is a bigger fan of The Cryptomaniacs podcast than me?

Don't forget, they are on every Tuesday and Friday at 1pm Eastern Time.

Let's Gooooooooooooooooo!!!
