Apple tech giant has told cloud-based messaging service Telegram to shut down three channels related to the Belarus political protests Source

On the bright side of events as this, I honestly like it because actions like this will force people to seek forms of expressing themselves freely in a world where we think we are free but in reality we are not. Taking for the Belarus political protest for instance, why would Apple force Telegram to shut down channels being used for protesting.
And by the way I fail to understand why Apple is involved in politics unless I have been leaving in the cave not realizing Apple is a political entity as well.

Keeping things decentralized as we journey into the future is clearly becoming inevitable. A world where people can express themselves and have no worries of the content being taken down or blocked is going to become the norm, though seems far away but we will get there.

Keeping in mind this is an aspect where HIVE can thrive, being home to decentralized blogging and vlogging DApps amongst other use case HIVE presents. It is just an indication of how early those of us on here are before the masses knows about decentralized Apps that are censorship free.

May the likes of Apple, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and co keep censoring, decentralized platforms are waiting patiently to welcome the victims of censorship but until then lets keep building and making this place robust to accommodate everyone.

We owe it to ourselves to make Hive great
