Rather be part of the solution than a pessimist
Problems will always exist, and problems will come looking for you even when you are minding your business. Of course, nobody wants to be dealing with problems, the impact as it destabilizes our being and happiness can be draining.
The reality though is problems exist and they have to be dealt with, some, of course, are beyond our control and in that case, my reaction is not to react until a solution arises.
My reaction to problems is fairly okay, I am not sure how I am able to remain calm, though at times some problems hit me with a fast heartbeat impact of which the calmness gets restored in due course with attention shifted to finding a solution.
Why the rant about problem?
Often I come across, some focusing on problems rather than solutions in blockchain or with cryptocurrency.
The tweet below is an example
Balaji's tweet seeks an alternative to the Dollar, the Yuan, or whatever fiat currency, which he also stated this alternative can't be achieved with Bitcoin alone. I'd like to think Altcoins are going to play a part in this.
Focusing on 1% of humanity at present owning cryptocurrency is not seeing the bigger picture of the future potential of cryptocurrency.
Are you happy with the current financial system? If not give cryptocurrency a chance and see where it takes us. Perhaps you might want to count yourself fortunate for being part of the "1% humanity" of cryptocurrency ownership and keep increasing your holdings.
Not everyone could afford a cellphone back in the days when cellphones were newly available, it took years after the Nokia cellphone launched for me to get my first phone, today even school kids have the latest smartphones. If we look back at the 90s we wouldn't have thought smartphones will be as common and must-have device as it is today.
One thing some fail to realize with cryptocurrency is, the barrier to entry is small, a smartphone and internet are all that are required and you can tap into the world of cryptocurrency. You could be using the simplest of Decentralized Applications (DApp) like Actifit or blockchain gaming that earns you tokens without realizing you are interacting with the blockchain, that is the future we are advancing towards as things get tokenized.
It is baffling when an opportunity is presented and what some see is the problem and not the potential of the opportunity.
