WWE To Release Undertaker NFTs This Weekend
NFT have been a side of blockchain I have remained unmoved about, I have been watching from the sideline which at times I tell myself I am being lazy to explore and could be missing out.
Earlier today I was nonchalantly surfing through NFT on Coingekco and less than an hour later the headline of Undertaker was emerged. Again it is high time I educate myself more in the NFT space and not necessarily invest.
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has finally decided to dabble into the rapidly emerging world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). As per the latest development, WEE shall be releasing NFTs for its most popular wrestler the Undertaker by this Saturday before the start of its popular WrestleMania. Source
The NFT crazy isn't slowing down, celebrities are jumping in for some cool gains, it is just amazingly crazy digital art, collectibles going for crazy amounts.
WWE is now the latest get in on the action and it has chosen no other person than Undertaker for its NFT. The world knows Undertaker his performances would leave me as a kid those days if he is an ordinary person or has got some other extraordinary powers.
Having Undertaker NFT is quite a cool move from WWE, their could be other NFTs for other wrestlers but at this time I will opting for Undertaker if I had to choose from the stars of WWE.
As per the official announcement on Thursday, April 8, WWE shall be releasing these NFTs through a four-tier drop system. These Undertaker NFTs will be dropped on WWE.com/NFT Saturday, April 10 at 10:30 a.m. ET through Sunday, April 11 at 11:30 p.m. ET. Source
The four tiers Undertaker NFTs will be in Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum with opening bids from $100, $1000, $5000 and $10 000 respectively.
There are some cool threats that comes along with winning the NFT bid like front row seat at Smackdown, RAW, VIP seat at Wrestlemania 2022 and 2023...
