My opponent had a plan, to wipe out my backline with Sneak monsters and I had the plan to fight head-on with random CHAOS DRAGON attacks.

A quick look at the lineup below will tell anyone that plays Splinterlands how deadly my opponent's lineup is. It is a lineup I sometimes deploy against an opponent being an Armored UP ruleset a continuous attack on the backline will eventually yield to the opposition.

Thankfully I had a beast, a devourer of existence in my lineup, CHAOS DRAGON to ensure victory for me.

But when even the invading hordes are fleeing before such a beast, what hope can there be? The answer is none when the eater of worlds has arrived, the true devourer of existence.

Rich in Armor and Health is ROBO-DRAGON KNIGHT, it was my choice of Tank because of the Void ability it has, as I anticipated magic attacks. It also has the Devine Shield ability and is always a reliable Tank to count on.

DJINN OSHANNUS also brings in the Void ability, here again, I was expecting magic opponents with the ruleset being Armored Up and Fire & Regret, so suitable attacks for this battle are melee and magic. OSHANNUS takes up the second spot in my lineup with high speed and is also rich in health.

The beastly CHAOS DRAGON in the third spot made all the difference, the opponent's FERAL SPIRIT was the first on CHAOS DRAGON'S menu. Following that were two attacks on the second monster in the enemy lineup that was destructive each time the Scattershot attack was launched with the Blast effect.

RIVER HELLONDALE had a tough fight at the brink of elimination but managed to survive the battle with Armor destroyed with 2 health for survival. It occupies the fourth spot in the lineup with Resurrect and Inspire abilities.

The Sneak attacks were heavy on SWAMP SPITTER, with the Repair ability, it is a suitable card for this battle. SWAMP SPITTER only lasted till the third round.

The manner in which my opponent messed with my backline had me wishing I had opted for CORNEALUS. ANGELIC MANDARIN and SWAMP SPITTER had it very bad and both cost me 10 mana enough for CORNEALUS to have the backline protected with Thorns. MANDARIN only made it to the second round even with the Resurrection help from HELLONDALE.
