Bitcoin and Gold aren't really trading together any longer

This is a pattern that has been in place for the last month or so, but is really breaking down right now.

Gold and Bitcoin are no longer correlated at all.

Actually, scratch that, technically they are correlated, they are negatively correlated right now!

Hehe, sees:

Gold has been trending lower ever since making new highs back in August, now at the lowest levels since July.

Bitcoin on the other hand is pushing towards new all time highs, currently at 3 year highs right now.

Bitcoin has been trading more in line with stocks than with gold as of late, but even then, that correlation is weak right now as well.

Bitcoin just goes up right now.

Nothing else has been flying with it, well except some select altcoins, just not our favorite one as of yet.
