BLM, Social Unrest, People losing faith in Centralized Authority, they are all symptoms of the same problem

GameStop is just another in a long line of sticking it to the man this year, well last year technically.

It started with the BLM riots, moved to the distrust of just about everything, continuing with social unrest, and now eventually moving into financial unrest.

Too long have the rich had unfair advantages in the financial markets.

From the first to get shots at lucrative IPOs, to market makers picking off their orders on Robhinhood and front running them, to the day trade rule, to just about everything being catered to the fat cats on Wall Street while discriminating against the little guy.

The little guy said enough is enough and took some power back into their own hands.

They sought out stocks with large short positions, a la GameStop, and encouraged many of their friends and followers to all buy up the stock with the intent of squeezing the short sellers.

While this may sound like stock manipulation to some, it's no different than hedge funds shorting a stock then telling all their hedge fund buddies about it and encouraging them to short it as well.

It's the exact same thing.

I've seen so many times where a fund shorts a stock, then goes public with their short and the stock drops 20%. Talk about an easy way to make money!

Well, now regulators are being called upon and Wall Street is crying foul, of course it is ok when you and I lose, but if big billion dollar hedge funds lose, well that's not ok.

Of course they are trying to protect us right?

The interesting thing about this is that it's simply the next in line of what we have already been seeing in our country.

It's simply rotating through every aspect of our society.

The long and short of it is that things need to change, the rich need to stop getting unfair advantage in so many aspects of life just because they are rich.

The playing field is about to be leveled and a revolution is upon us. All these events are simply symptoms of what people feel is wrong in our country.

Whether you support it or not is irrelevant, it's what it is.
