About 48 hours ago, we launched Veews!

Our little piece of value to the Hive blockchain that we've been planning for years. So far, the response has been amazing and it's been awesome to see the community really embrace it.

I've spent a lot of time...Veewing! Pretty sure the only Hive member that has 'veewed' more would be @taskmaster4450 lol But I thought I'd give people a few tips that I think can really help you enjoy your experience that much more.

For both content creating as well as...Veewing!

Titles Matter

Being exposed to a lot of content over the past few days on Veews has shown me that we can all do better when it comes to giving titles to our blog posts and content.

"Day 3933 of My Blog"

Just doesn't scream...This is something I want to spend time reading.

A little shock and awe goes a lot way here but more importantly, give your readers a reason they should scan the article and spend time on it.

Speaking Of Scanning...

Try using a few elements to break up your posts....

  • Bullet points (see what I did there?)

  • Headlines within the post

  • Images

There is nothing that will scare away readers more than 7 drawn out paragraphs that are just blocks of text.

Use The Proper Tags

I know all the rage is to create posts with 20 tags, and every tribe token in them...But Veews thrives on...Content discovery. And if you want your content to be, well, discovered...Be mindful of the tags you are using.

This will help your potential reader find your content easier through the platform and focus on the content they actually want to read...Which is hopefully yours if you are using the right tags.

Use...Veews! The Whole Package!

While Veews is not a content creating platform at first glance, you can really add a ton of value to Hive, directly inside of the comment section on Veews.

Use it :)

Vote content you enjoy!

Give feedback!

Report bugs :)

Poke around and use all the features you can with Veews and help us create a much better experience for everyone!

Just a few tidbits I think can help us all get more value from Veews and our Veewing experience.

What would you suggest?

What do you think others should know to help their content stick out inside of the platform?

As always, we'd love to hear your feedback :)

Happy Veewing!
