Become A Whale In 30 Days Or Less...
We all have big dreams...
When I first joined the blockchain, one of my 'big dreams' was to become a whale on Hive. Just think about it...The glory! The prestige! The curation rewards....lol
But as time went on, I realized that unless I had an extra 500k sitting around in crypto or fiat, my dream of becoming a whale here might take a little bit more time than I thought.
So much for that huh? My hopes and dreams, crashed and burned because...I just didn't have the resources. I had the hustle and I had the entrepreneurial spirit, but the fiat was lacking...
If you have heard any of the Crypto Maniacs podcasts with @taskmaster4450 and yours truly, you'll know we talk about...The tribes on Hive, a lot!

And no this post is not meant to be bragging at all, heaven's knows I don't have a thing to brag about. But what I'm hoping to show people is that...
The potential to become a major influencer in a TRIBE on Hive isn't out of reach. A little bit of elbow grease, some patience and investment in yourself can pay BIG!
Heck a few thousand bucks would make you one of the top token holders on CTP right now...Whale status!
I'm currently like 25th on the staked richlist on SPT and I just got started stacking the token a few months ago...

I love this post and the ideas behind it.
I make a lot of ctp a day right now without even posting. I went big on the miners and delegate to the ctp one up curation trail.
I’m starting down the leo trail now. I hope it grows.

Basically, anyone with over 550,000 staked Hive would be considered a whale.
That means am not close to fish sef...lol

Which means you'll be earning some sweet SPS token by the way, compounding, hustling, showing up, building goals is how we tend to grow here. Eventually you might become a way, who knows, maybe in two years time.

No idea off hand, but they make a decent about, the top 20 on Hive do. As for SPT, I have dollar coast averaged into it, buying around 1000 SPT a day at around 2 Hive.

For me I need to write a lot of content and get upvotes so that I could ever become whale. With the curation and commenting alone, at the most I can get close to dolphin lol. But yes it's good to have a goal like this who knows things may change with the content and reaching whale status wont be that hard.
That's why I shared that I did invest into this stuff. The content and curation can help you grow for sure, but once you start building it with your own funds into things...It really takes off. Hive is expensive, something like SPT or CTP is not :)

It's much easier to get a whale status on a Hive Engine token and I kind of agree that Hive is hard to get whale status. I haven't really bothered with investing my earnings to increase my stake but I do grow them as I collect the tokens. It will add up everyday and I hope to be a whale eventually.

Perhaps the long focus on becoming a whale on hive can be reduced and focus on the opportunity in other tribes

It takes time and commitment to become a whale for sure, if you don't have the resources to buy your way up.
I have few layer 2 token which spt & Leo is one of them and I hope to keep adding up, I don't want to be everywhere too, which can be draining sometimes.

This is soo true.. After calculating I decided it'll be easier to grow my Leo power than Hive power. I have now completely switchly to Leo purchase and staking only and already satisfied .. Will add more.. Layer 2 tokens is where its at.

At first I had lot of tokens. Then one time I checked the hive-engine, my balance was $9,000. Earlier it was just $100, a user can input a sell limit for 90x the order. So I thought token just mooned. Of course after when looking at the balance it's back to normal. But just at that moment, I really thought it was genuine !
