Happy start of the week everyone, I want to start mine by sharing with you my participation in the challenge being run by @rutablockchain on @leofinance. It's about sharing our story about how we live in the midst of hyperinflation in our countries (those who have it).

It's no secret that for years now Venezuela's economic situation has been worsening into the debacle it is today. The main problems are of course hyperinflation, currency devaluation, low cash liquidity and price speculation.
I have had to deal with all this for years, approximately since my early days in college, which I had to drop out of because of this very problem. From that moment on I started to work and at the same time to live in my own flesh what my parents and all Venezuelans live.
With every salary I got from my jobs I felt frustrated because it was literally not enough for anything, every day, and even with the hours the prices of food, personal care, cleaning or other products increase; the worst thing is that they do not increase a small percentage but the increase is tremendous, often 50% or more.
The situation today is a little different thanks to the spontaneous adoption of foreign currencies as fiduciary currencies; we have had to anchor the prices of almost all products and services in currencies such as the dollar and the euro, depending on the area of the country, in some cases these prices are also subject to those of gold for example, as happens in the east of the country (Bolivar and Amazonas).
For me the most difficult part is the emotional and psychological effect that this whole situation causes in people; many of us have felt tired and overwhelmed by having to deal daily with the increase in prices and on the other hand the little purchasing power we have. Every day we have to spend more to be able to live moderately with food and basic necessities, we are not even talking about recreation and luxuries, that is almost impossible in an ordinary family where the income is basic.
What I have learned the most is to know how to manage money and income, also to reduce expenses and to implement techniques and products that alleviate these expenses, this is something that has been forced on ALL Venezuelans. I feel that I have learned to maneuver in a sea of turbulent waters plagued by sharks, only this time the sharks have high rates of inflation and devaluation.
Well my main advice would be to save as much as you can, but this is a bit illogical since hyperinflation is almost always accompanied by a strong devaluation of the currency so saving would be a waste, so my recommendation would be to save but not in the traditional way but with cryptocurrencies; I've been developing a bit in the crypto world for months now and if I have learned anything is that they are an excellent financial tool because they provide security and stability, something very important in a hyperinflation scenario.
Investing in cryptos is an excellent strategy, as long as we educate ourselves and do things right. The boom and stability that cryptocurrencies are experiencing tells us that they are tools that are here to stay and to change the way we see and live money.
The answer is simple, for those of us who make a living and are part of the HIVE blockchain we benefit from the benefits of these platforms, not only for the tokens we get from the different platforms and the crypto earnings we can generate (which translates into vital extra income for the situation we live in), it goes much further, by developing in these creative ecosystems we acquire skills that we can apply in the working world and that helps us to expand our job opportunities.
