Patience and self control are one of the values i've learnt being on hive. I mean no matter how little hive has been massively adopted, it is basically strict in the way it works and i'm not sure if that is totally a good thing. Nevertheless, it somehow reminds me of how the world should be properly governed.

I am of the opinion that the world we currently live in, is ruled and not governed, there's a difference. Being ruled is asserting or forcing down regulations and laws on people without them having a "say or choice" in it but being governed is being guided or headed on already laid down procedure or what the commuinity accepts as a norm of operation.

The world currently doesn't want to function like hive this is because there are powerful men who like to see themselves as the lords of the world they have influences on finance and leadership in every country, faceless as they come but with the fierceness to do anything they want without retribution.

Money and connection is what you need to make your prescence felt in the world but each new day people are seeking for wealth that makes them rise above retribution and this is of course a roundabout way of seeking to become an official anarchist.

Hive is packed with wealthy people, this is true yet each and everyone is accountable thanks to the community who acts as the "all-seeing eye", people will of course act like they should. The fact that hive is decentralised doesn't mean its a perfect example of flawlessness.

Inasmuch you'll find greed in most finacial sectors, you'll exactly find people who are trying to plunder the system for their own personal gains, its human actions and while we have builders we will exactly have plunderers whose aims are to just take, spoil, pillage without caring about the system. Good thing is, they're often caught at the end.

People love uncontrolled freedom but excessive unchecked freedom would never incur sustainability and long-term and sometimes we might have the wrong people with the right resources being the one's deciding what if is to check excessive control. I have been caught between "Whale wars" and I have ended up in the cross fire, irrespective of the fact that sometimes you try to build from little Investment opportunities, maintain a healthy goal and of course try to do what feels right, some people would still find you undeserved.

I try to see the money as "a good thing" but I focus more on the growth. Even the big whales are susceptible to mistakes even when their money always makes them right, I like to think that somehow they chose to reward who they want but then they're still accountable at some point.

Some people focus on the whales in their corner because they feel their content can never go wrong if they have the right whale. Truth is, a whale can suddenly become a dead fish and that is why we should grow to build an audience, have the right relationship, the right engagement is what will bring you longevity in terms of reward overtime.

Nevertheless there's no perfection but building an optimal reputation is everything that's why the two values I've learnt being here is patience and self control. It's difficult to have self control especially when it involves money but because of hive's nature it's essential to try to build what you'll want for it. Hive's survival is why people go to any length to make sure abusers don't take it all, it's not an act of censorship, no where can be 100% decentralised and hive isn't yet.
