Every bear or bull market will always be the first for a newbie who is excited about Crypto. However, I use to tell people that a newbie should experience bearish situation while they're on the cusp of investing and this isn't because they'll be buying very low which creates the opportunity for them to maximize their investment.

For example, I think the last bull market was the first ever for El Salvador and its president and they did invest when bitcoin was on a momentum, and now that the market is quite on the bearish side, it creates an external aura that they're losing, while they're not technically losing unless they sell, some countries without any knowledge of Crypto might think they have (El Salvador) invested amiss. However, the El Salvadorian president is taking a stance, buying again through the bear, I hope that even if it's wealth in reserve for them, they'll learn the art of taking profit

Because We Might Be Right, But Wrong In some Disposition

Ignorance Is death

Now the ignorance of some people, countries, and government is on them for failing to do their research. But I do believe that we're still on the road to mass adoption, some people say adoption is inevitable since the technology behind Crypto will find a way to creep into the lives of people, (which is true) but if we bank on this sense of certainty, can we adopt even the most backward and hostile financial environment?

We all know that people are supposed to do their research, but one of the reasons why we're typing on a web2-based platform (Twitter) is because we're trying to sell hive, why? Because there are people who are lost on Twitter looking for a place exactly like hive.

Newbies & The Bear Market

Now I was talking about bear markets as the best time for newbies to come into Crypto and this is because of the psychological transcension they'll attain when the bull market comes eventually. I have seen the behavioral pattern of people who got into crypto during the bull market and there are these "FUDish" expectations they place on crypto when they finally hit the apex of the bear.

This is because of how the reality of loss hits differently. Some people already got the wind that after the bear market, the bull market will come, but they think it's just a two or three months thingy and when they've surpassed this timeline and still no bulls, it becomes nervy and they begin to imagine this worse.

This is thrilling because no one is completely built to be accustomed to losing

But....

....the reality is that they don't know they can take advantage of the volatility to their advantage. While some might think worst of the bear market. It is actually one of the most sophisticated ways some crypto OGs have built their wealth.

Personally, I see the bear market as the best orientation for a newbie and that's because they're coming in at a particular market situation, with zero expectations and when they eventually see the bull market, then back again, they'll be accustomed to being under already. However, it's possible to admit that the psychology of people in these two market situations is quite different even if they've experienced a transcension.

The Regret Of Inactions

I came into Crypto 3 months before the bull market, (I think the timing was too short for me to have learned) but even when the bear market came, I experienced the unreal reality of loss. This was because the bear market tore through most of 2018 and probably all of 2019.

Some people dumped all their assets because of the fear that they might go to zero. I use to know a dolphin here who ranted a lot about being half a million dollars rich in the bull of late 2017, but he completely sold all his assets in the bear market because of fear. I mean the fact that he didn't take profit broke him psychologically, he felt he'd be rich forever, even today, he lost all that assets and lost all the opportunities of 2020 and 2021.

Knowing Only One Market Cycle Is Not Enough

Knowing the bull market makes people a completely different version of themselves. This is a different effect from the bear market. Crypto makes people and if they get lost in ignorance it'll break them. I was telling someone yesterday to expect the bear market to last even farther than they think, but the information seemed unreal and unimaginable because they haven't known any bears until now. Anyone who is a newbie and survives this bear might be a different person when they experience the next one (bear market)
