We live in the present even if most of the plans we make are tailored to be beneficial to the future. This is because we fear the future, we fear the lack and want that might come with it when we do not prepare. Sometimes we do some mental accounting of how much we have at the moment and it doesn't seem to correlate with the life we want especially if we've been making some calculations.

Multiplying the amount we currently earn to let's say 5 to 10 years, but we find out that we still don't have enough money to live a comfortable life in the future. This is what prompts us to fear the future and this fear is what prompts us to stay on our feet, never losing sight of what matters and constantly seeking ways to better our lives.

You see, the fear of the future is not an entirely bad thing.

.......That's the good side, but it becomes a bit bad when we constantly fear it (the future) and forget to enjoy the present, which is the most valuable time In our lives. However, everyone cannot be the same. People who are conscious of responsibility, are often future-driven, sometimes we see them excel, especially when their efforts are well rewarded.

Yet, in every one of my publications, I've always reminded everyone that reality is not a respecter of our dreams, goals, and aspirations. In another twist, there's still no certainty to some of the most vital lessons of life because we're different, and change is inevitable.

Baby Steps Towards The Unexpected

Everyone starts by taking baby steps and eventually grows into their lives, the unexpected can happen and dump us back into ground zero, but hope is one thing that keeps us adrift, the hope that we'll be lucky is always present no matter how certain we feel. So 100% Certainty is an apex that we feel, but might never attain.

We mostly hope a lot of things wouldn't happen to us and one of them is failing financially after we've worked so tirelessly. This isn't to say we should ignore hard work and preparations, I'm mostly saying we should reckon with luck, and prepare ourselves to fall within its nomenclature. In reality, the outcome of our choices places a level of failure or mastery on us.

No one cares about efforts, results are all that matters

.....and the processes irrespective of how well-tailored it is might not be well perceived this is to show you that failure is deemed as failure, no matter the growth, strength, or knowledge we've garnered. Sadly, that's how the world works.

This is one of the reasons why I think everyone should do their thing, and believe in what they believe no matter the external criticism. But it's generally difficult to do so. We thrive on the faith placed on us by the people we love and cherish, this is why training oneself to bask in self-validation is very important.

In a nutshell,

......we are a living criticism of ourselves, constantly doubting or lauding our effort, we do this so much that we completely forget to maintain a balance. Balance is a state of wholesomeness.

I know people might think they need a lot to attain it, but it's simply training and discipline. We cannot all target financial freedom the same way or with the same method. Financial freedom is a journey, the inability to see the future is why we cannot ridicule or mock the journey of another person.

It's easy to not believe in people because their future looks bleak

......and maybe ours seems brighter, but this is a very big mistake. There's this thick veil that sometimes clouds our sense of reckoning, it's this thick veil that's holding the fabrics of time.

We're all taking risks, no one should feel better because of how solid their preparation seems, luck is underrated in life when it's probably the biggest component of our strivings and effort.
