The HIVE is alive...

As many altcoins are trying to recover from the recent bloodshed we saw the past couple days, HIVE is doing better than most.

The chart in BTC terms has been mostly sideways for a while now with prices briefly touching support levels that I talked about the other day.

More on that can be seen here:

However, within the past hour or so, HIVE is all the sudden starting to wake up...

Check out the 4H HIVE/BTC chart:

It's starting to break out of that minor downtrend it has been in for days/weeks now in BTC terms.

It's hard to tell on that chart, but the MACD is crossing over as well.

Add those things up and it looks like HIVE may be ready to start its next leg higher.

The USD chart looks pretty good as well...

There is not nearly as much trading history to go off of, so I had to use a 2H chart here, but there is enough there to see that HIVE is trying to break out right now there as well.

The MACD on that chart is also starting to cross over.

Things are about to get interesting...

Bitcoin's halving is now less than 24 hours away.

At this point, just about all the countdowns are within an hour or so of each other...

One of the fastest ones is showing the halving will take place roughly 17 hours from now.

This is going to impact everything, and I mean everything in crypto.

It may not happen all at once, right at the halving, but we are going to see some major volatility within the next couple weeks and it's already beginning.

It's going to be very interesting to see what the volatility will mean for altcoins, especially HIVE.

It's got everything setup right now to go on a nice little run in both USD and BTC terms, but if bitcoin gets volatile, that setup may go out the window.

Personally, I am expecting bitcoin to continue drifting higher the next couple days through the halving, but within the first couple weeks post halving I think it dips.

There is no reason to think that HIVE can't ride right along with bitcoin over these next several days and see a nice little rally of it's own.

Personally, I think it is going to.

What do you think?

Stay informed my friends.
