Hello everyone. Today is Saturday, April 10. This is the fifteenth week that I've happily participated in the Saturday Savers Club.
I reached 100 days of Saving TODAY.
My daily savings rate is now 1.00 Hive
That's a major accomplishment for me, especially since I didn't think I could do it. But as @eddie-earner tells us consistency and starting small is the key. I have adhered to this. I must say the Saturday Savers Club has worked for me. I'm pleased with my results thus far.
The funny thing is I'm using my rewards and investments to save. The additional monies I receive in the form of dividends, earnings, tips, and liquid Hive for contest winnings from delegating, investing, staking, and posting is what I use to save.
I thoroughly encourage anyone who wants to start a savings plan to do so today. It's easy to get started and stay committed by adding small amounts in whatever increments you can afford.
The good thing about starting any plan. If you decide that it's not working for you or you want to go in a different direction, you're free to do so. You're not tied to the Saturday Savers Club or any plan. You're free to change your mind. This can happen, for instance, if you reach a particular goal and want to do something different.
At some point, I'm going to reach my goal set in the Saturday Savers Club. At that time, I'll decide which direction I want to pursue next. Hopefully, I'll have a plan on how I want to spend my savings or continue to add to it.

Below is my savings and investment plan I accomplished for Week 15:
Hive Savings:
My Hive Savings Account as of 4/10: 150.500 HIVE
I started with 100 liquid Hive on January 1st. After 100 days of saving 1cent a day, I have accumulated an extra 50.500 in Hive. I can do this!
Hive Backed Dollars (HBD) Savings:
My HBD Savings Account balance as of 4/10: 10.226
I started saving HBD on April 1st. I continued through my first full week of saving it at a daily rate of .001. The amount may seem small, but remember HBD is a Hive token which may be rewarded on your posts. In the past few months, receiving HBD on posts has increased slightly.
This is primarily due to the price of Hive increasing. The current APR for HBD is 3%, which is set by the witnesses. I know instances where Hive members have set their rewards at 100% HP. That is another way of increasing your Hive Power rapidly in your Hive account. You'll be able to do more with the additional resources at hand.
However, if you want to add liquid to your Hive portfolio, then I think keeping your Hive posting rewards at 50/50. That way, you can receive HBD and have liquid in your account. You can either convert it to Hive, save it, or handle it in whatever manner you choose.
EDS / EDSM
EDS 20.14 According to the information from @eddie-earner, Eddie Earners (EDS) are inflation-proof HIVE low-income risk tokens. Income increase over time. It's a wise investment for anyone wanting to start small with token purchases. It's nice to see my EDS holdings increasing at a steady rate. I plan to hold this token long term.
EDSM 17.75 Staked I purchased this token so that I could mine more EDS. Since acquiring EDS Miner, I receive a daily reward from the mining lottery:
The amount 0.23 is added to my EDS Token amount. I'm pleased with this return on my investment. I plan to acquire additional mining tokens.
However, I didn't reach my goal this week as I want to own 20 EDSM and stake them. The price of HBD was well above the ratio of HBD/USD, so I would have lost money on the conversion to HBD to purchase additional miners.

I'm proud of my achievement.
Since January 1, I have saved 50.500 Hive in just 15 weeks. I've saved .010 in HBD in just 10 days by following the savings formula for the 365 Day Money Saving Challenge chart shown below.
