Touted as the newest in microblogging, Leo Finance launched Leo Threads. Why should this be of interest to you? Because this new feature is not just about finance. It's about YOU!

What is Leo THREADS?

According to LeoFinance, Leo Threads is a microblogging platform. It's intent is to bring about a new concept in the way Hive members engage with each other. For those not interested in or burned out on Twitter, this platform will be perfect for you. And you don't have to stray away from your Hive account to participate.

But what exactly is Threads? Leo Finance advises that their concept of Threads is flash content or microblogging that's embedded on Hive. It will entail content that is 240 characters or less.

How Leo Threads will work for YOU?

  • If you want to write about your day, go ahead;
  • If you want to show a photo with just one word, go ahead;
  • If you want to write a short sentence describing how you feel, go ahead.
  • If you want to ask a question to receive engagement, go right ahead.

Just go ahead and write whatever you want up to 240 characters. It a great way to engage with others also.

Why this and why now?

Well, Leo Finance has been researching issue for some time and understands that not everyone on the Hive has a talent for writing lengthy articles about decentralization, cryptocurrency, and all finance related matters. In fact, Leo Finance realized that short articles have a place in the blockchain as well.

However, unlike normal content, the flash content won't be burdened with communities banning or censoring. Nor will your rewards be reduced or removed by those who deem them unworthy or your content not to their liking. In other words, freedom for your short content.

Why Leo Threads for Me?

I'm not a strong advocate for short or long content. I'm proficient in both. And I'd thoroughly enjoy the ability to engage in both on Hive. This way, I can. However, I know and have seen numerous posts/comments attempting to justify the underlying emphasis of long vs. short content on Hive. I don't feel this debate will ever end.

For me, I see it as a matter of personal perspective. I do feel that shorter content is frowned upon as deserving equal or near equal rewards.

For the past few years, I've enjoyed creating numerous types of writings, such as:

~ flash fiction in the Freewriter Community's 240-character ZAPFIC (flash fiction) challenges;

~ short story fiction up to 1,000 words. I normally hang out in Alien Art Hive showcasing my fractal and other art.

~ fiction stories over 1,000 words. I enjoy other writing communities.

~ fractal and other digital art projects that I don't necessarily have the time to publish a story to accompany my designs.

~ Finally, I enjoy engaging with members in all Communities that interest me.

I'd just like to have the option to engage on a microblogging platform without any requirement to log out of Hive with any content I want to publish. When I feel the desire to post a microblog, I'll just stroll on over to Leo Threads and satisfy my exigency.

Simple as that for me!
