If you've saved forward each day since January 1st and completed 100 days like I did, you've now got the hang of how it works. So let's check out what this new savings challenge entails:

It works like the 365 Penny a Day Challenge, only backwards for 100 days.

Day one you save 100 units (pennies, Hive, HBD, Bitcoin 😂)
Day 2 you save 99
Day 3 = 98
Day 4 = 97 Day 5 - 96 and so on.
For ease, you can print out the progress sheet below and work backwards for 100 days. Challenge Start Date: 17 April 2021 Challenge End Date: 31 July 2021

There are two parts to this challenge:

PART 1: How to Enter:

write a post with a commitment to saving backwards for 100 days.
include your goal for these savings (holiday money, crypto investments, digital art from the NFT showroom).
include tags #saturdaysavers #eds
Deadline for Part 1 of this Challenge is: 9am UTC on Saturday 24 April 2021 .
Everyone who enters part one will go into a draw with prizes - win SPI, LBI and EDS - yes!

Part 2: Make a post by 9am UTC on Saturday 31 July 2021 with the results of your 100 days of saving backwards (don't worry, I'll remind you nearer the time).

@eddie-earner suggests this savings strategy could be a great challenge for children - by the end of the challenge they will have saved 5050 pennies/cents just in time for the summer holidays!

Not too long, either, just one hundred days!

I immediately talked to my grandchild about this saving plan. "It's game on for me if I can find 100 pennies in my piggy bank," she said. I'll try to help her find some. I'll also help her create a blank chart so she can record her savings each day.

I'm excited with the announcement by @eddie-earner of this new savings challenge. This news coincides with my new investment strategy for Week 16 of the Saturday Savers Club.

I'm ready to take on a new savings challenge.

100 DAYS OF SAVINGS BACKWARDS CHALLENGE, PART 1

Here's my new strategy of saving in the Saturday Savers Club. Although the challenge officially began on April 17th, I had already started my 100 Days Saving Backwards on April 11th.

First, to satisfy the requirements of PART 1 of the 100 Days of Saving Backwards Challenge, I wish to inform @eddie-earner that I shall commit to the new challenge for 100 DAYS SAVING BACKWARDS from the period beginning April 17 through July 31 per the schedule set forth in the challenge post.

Below is my investment plan for the Saving Backwards Challenge.

I intend to continue saving Hive. I'll save each day backwards according to the schedule set forth in the challenge:

Day 1 = 0.99 Hive Day 2 = 0.98 Hive Day 3 = 0.97 Hive Day 4 = 0.96 Hive Day 5 = 0.95 Hive

I ended my 100th day on April 10 in which I transferred 1.00 Hive to my savings, with a total of having saved 50.500 Hive**. To me, that was impressive.

Next, I started my 100 Days of Saving Backwards.

So, on April 11th, as you can see from above, I transferred 0.99 Hive and began my first 100 days savings backwards. So far, I've saved backwards 11.22 Hive in 12 days, and this was added to my total so that as of today, 4/22 my total Hive Savings in the Saturday Savers Club is 61.720 HIVE.

So, I still saved and kept building my account, but I just did it in reverse. I will continue through with the 100 Days of Saving Backwards.

Goals for my Saving Backwards:

At the completion of my 100 days of Saving Backwards on July 31st, I plan to utilize my savings on the following projects:

Increase my investment in Leo Finance and its associated projects such as CUB and LBI;
Increase my investments in Btc and other coins that may not be on Hive-Engine;
Currently gathering additional information on the LBI project so that I can be ready to purchase any new purchases;
Gathering information on SPI and Spinvest projects for additional investment;
Purchase additional EDS Mining Tokens;
Purchase additional EDS Tokens;
Support different community projects with liquid Hive or delegations;
Stake all my token investments as of July 31, 2021; and
Convert my HBD into liquid so that I can participate in the August 1st Hive Power Up Day.

I feel that I'll reach my goals on July 31. I intend to adhere to the challenge. I'll invest whatever I have accumulated at that time.
