I can't believe I read this report yesterday - Bitcoin tumbles following Elon Musk’s cryptic tweets
I will save you the trouble of opening the link and share Elon's "cryptic" tweets here. The first one -
I think the meme is kind of funny. But is this the reason for a drop in bitcoin price? Or let me put it this way - Do news outlets really think people will believe this meme caused the bitcoin price to drop!?
I would have loved to see some analysis of the tweet at least. Like how the Linkin Park song is actually symbolic of how much energy bitcoin mining consumes! After repeatedly being disappointed with bitcoin for using high energy, Musk finally decided to break up with Bitcoin because it kept using even more energy for mining. Something!
He followed it with another tweet -
I mean this should have been a retweet from Elon. I probably have seen tweets like this one, probably the same tweet, so many times after multiple crashes. This was probably easier for news outlets to analyze. Bitcoin price crash breaks Elon's heart. Or that Elon cries like newbies after witnessing the first major crypto crash. Some deeper analysis could have read like - Elon's guilt brings tears to his eyes after gains on Tesla's treasury book vanish. The news outlets need to be more creative!
Let's ignore this nonsense and see the daily chart -
Bitcoin is consolidating in no man's territory. It looked like it was attempting to break the major resistance range yesterday but it was not to be. Some people want you to believe it is Elon, but he has now changed his profile picture again to include bitcoin and laser eyes.
He is not sitting on huge gains anymore, and anyway screw him. We will wait for Bitcoin to break out and then head towards greater glory.
