Am I happy enough with my SPS to not sell some more cards?

Finally I had a chance to be back at my laptop again after a while to check in on how the sikeyness around the SPS token airdrop in Splinterlands was doing. I only had mobile access for a while and that meant that I wasn't able to get into the SPS menu, I guess because this is only available in desktop version which is fine.

But I can tell you, the suspense was there haha. So this is the deal after about 10 days of SPS airdrops.

The question of the matter is....should I be sikes about this amount, should I be disappointed in this amount? I am not really sure. Ofcourse I am just a medium size player in the Splinterlands game in general and this is generated with about 218.000 power in DEC.

That is nothing compared to what some wallets are generation with their DEC power, but I must say with around $12 bucks a day, it wasn't entirely what I had hoped for.

On the other hand, daily returns is the way to go into passive income if you want to have the least amount of hassle going on. But who knows what these daily returns turn into. People generate stuff by the day now, which means people will sell because it is free, which means the price will drop unless something will be able to be done with the token.

Stake...

So I am hoping on that SPS will actually have a use case that will make people want to hold on to their tokens. Indeed most likely it will be something with the castles and the land that is coming up, but that will take a bit of time.

What I also hope because ofcourse now the land is sold out, is that this still will have a use case for the 'small' player who isn't a land owner but just started playing, as so many new players were brought in the last couple of weeks. You can see it back in the amount if DEC won per battle and how the servers are having some scaling issues. The game is being played big.

But unlike players like be who have been doing this a couple of years, it also needs to be interesting still for the newby player.

So...if staking is the way to go with currently 300% APR, will that be worth the increasing prices of the cards itself?

...Or sell?

Because if you have a look at my legendry friend 'Kron the Undying' here as you see it is a highly wanted card. I am not interested in selling my Kron because I play him a lot but when you see that he is only worth 1000 DEC in playing value, but look at his price?

That 1000 DEC power is not worth it at all, you really need this one for playing and not for staking. Better to get some cheap gold foil cards for that.

But hey..look on the bright side. $150 bucks for holding the cards that I am already holding, with an increasing amount every day. That isn't too shabby right?
