It never has been more clear in all terms on how out of balance the world is, and how unfair things can get. Back in the days there was a sense normalcy about how one was better than the other, luckily the world is trying to get more in balance although we are still failing in this gigantic.

The answer to the ecoTrain question of the week if 'Is life fair' is such an obvious NO for the whole world that it feels almost inappropriate to answer this.

Life is not fair, rich and poor are not in balance, not everyone has the same changes in education / school / healthcare / freedom of speech and that sucks. Lets look at the HIVE ecosystem what we can do to that to a micro level.

Even here in the HIVE ecosystem not everything is fair. Some have more options of investing more in it than others, even due to the simple facts of that others have to work outside of this for 70 hours a week, some are illeterate, some don't even have internet access. There are numerous reasons why people do or do not succeed in HIVE and it doesn't always actually have to be someones own fault.

I was happy to see that there were posts on the trending page again for charity. Ofcourse naturally the topic from it super sucked namingly that it was to pay medical bills for people who otherwise would not get treated for covid, but the idea that a community can make such a difference is a beautiful thing.

I know a lot of people do not want to go back to the old days where in that time STEEM was paying for a lot of peoples actual bills, providing healthcare, supporting animal shelters, setting up soup kitchens in poor villages, buying kids new clothes because 'it is not good for the ecosystem if HIVE gets sold so cheap'

If you read these words carefully again this is such a paradox. We all want this community to thrive to make things better and succesfull, but it always starts with getting the community healthy. And with healthy this to me also means that our fellow users make it to the finish as well.

We have the power to vote posts to heights where they actually pay for bills. Why did we stop doing this? I remember @pennsif had 'a dollar a day' topics, where a large account would put in one dollar day, or send 1 steem or something at that moment, to a person of choice for a charitable notice.

I loved that idea.!

Ofcourse there were also people who were taking advantage of this, but this will happen in every eco system in whatever kind of way. But that some people take advantage of it, doesn't mean we have to cut out every initiative right?

I would love to put my autovotes that 50% of my daily votes would go to good causes. If there would be a trail of charity or something like that, me and my 2 cent vote would happily follow this one and I am sure other accounts would do this as well.

Who cares if the curation rewards are not that high on it? That would only mean there is less to trade for the already wealthy if you get what I mean. Maybe something like this already exists here on HIVE currently as well, I just haven't found it yet, or haven't looked hard enough (most likely the truth if I am honest).

I am not saying life will get more fair here in our ecosystem, but it would be good thing right? Or am I being way too naive here at the moment and its it really all about Defi and getting the big bucks in.

And let me know where the charity is at, I would be happy to go there for some daily votes.
