The market is giving hope for good stuff! Is this the start of alt season?

I am not someone who knows their TA, their MA, their 200 day MA or whatever. I look at what is going on and hope I can see some patterns from the past, from the previous bullmarket we went through, before we went into crypto winter.

The moment when the market crashed in 2017, it went slower than we actually realised. Everybody looks back at it I feel like this all happened in two days, but actually there were a lot of moments to have opted out before everything was worth nothing anymore.

One of the common mistakes myself and a lot of other people have made in the past was trading coins like BTC for shady alts with the idea to make tons of profit, which in retrospect obviously turned into greater losses.

Today we are in a different phase. The phase where the alts are making good progress. Is it as good for the tons of profits we are looking for? Well if you are looking at some of the ATHs of a lot of alts we are nearly nowhere.

But there is no guarantee that these coins will back to their all time high again. So what is wisdom at this point? Wait it out? Take some gains? Turn everything to BTC? There is no one who can give you the right answer.

I guess for me there will be a moment of impulsivity where I suddenly sell stuff. I haven't set mental goals where that will be. I guess I will see something crash and burn at a certain point and do some panic sells. At least..I hope that will be the case by then..

What is you tactic? Have you set a goal for yourself? When you want to cash out? Or are you full on crypto and expect the world to to step out of fiat? I just want to know different opinions from different people to gather some wisdom for this.
