Our only hope is education. Education can help us understand reality and use technology to our benefit. It all starts with someone's POV (point of View)
Being a member of some cryptocurrency groups, I sometimes read the users' popular or unpopular opinions. Someone's comment yesterday confirmed to me once more, what I already knew.
It is always easier to put the blame (about any subject, but especially for crypto) to other people.
Someone, simply posted a screen shot by another user who, in the past, had written a detailed and partially positive review about Luna. At the comment it was mentioned "Look at this person who was supporting this project, now they are quiet and do not say anything about it. Now that so much money is lost"
Yes, that Luna. The one that got to zero in just a couple of days. The one that drove many people to the absolute loss of their funds and its founder to worry about his and his family's safety.

The moral of the story?
It is always easier to blame other people, and not seeing our own mistakes. But if in the end we are the ones paying for the price, then the responsibility is all ours and we need to be able to recognize where opportunity or risk lies.
And it all comes down to our knowledge, to our education and to our understanding. How can we understand this big world out there? It was only one protocol at first when Bitcoin was first created in 2008, PoW. We are in 2022 and technology has moved a very long way. Many new protocols, many new blockchains and so many new sections are involved! If you check the number of different altcoins, they are now close to 20K!
We are very lucky to live in a time where information is easy to find, even if it is plenty and sometimes contradicting! So we should be able to select who we follow, who we listen to and also what to keep, what to cross check and how to proceed.

If you have not attended, I highly recommend that you try this out. It is fully online, there are quizzes and a final exam to take. For the ones who want to, you can receive a certification upon successful completion, in the form of an NFT (which comes with a cost at the end of the course)
I attended the last course and have received my certification but I could not help myself by enrolling again. Why? But to make sure that I will not miss the ...
Education in the open metaverse? That must be interesting :)
And trust me, I know nothing about the metaverse.. I really wish to learn more about it so this may be a great motive for me to do so.
