My First #secretsanta 2022 Unboxing, Merry Christmas

The package felt rather heavy. According to the experience of previous participants over the years is that ‘you don’t know what to expect” is part of the anticipation of #silvergoldstacker’s #secretsanta initiative.

Without further adieu let’s open her up and let unboxing begin. I’ll keep the commentary down and let the photos do the talking. And, it has a story to tell.

It’s getting all over my place.

Santa included a Christmas Card.

Anyone recognize the hand writing?

Santa is known to have a calligraphy style done with 19th century elegance and flourish using an ostrich quill. With many children of all ages populating his list I wouldn't doubt him going down to quick jots with a BIC pen nowadays.

Christmas Owl Stuffy and Gourmet Candy Popcorn

The cute little owl didn’t have a tag so I will name him Hootie. As I work nights, it makes me a professional ‘Night owl’ having to be more active in the nights. And I did have an extensive stuffy toy collection up to my teen years.

The delicious looking popcorn comes from the Chocolate Moose Fudge Factory, a business located in Moosejaw Saskatchewan. I tell you that this is evidence that jolly Santa lives in Saskatchewan and not in Greece.

Why it’s Capitan Juan Perez and the Santigo. The 1999 225 year commemorating the Discovery of the Queen Charlotte Islands.

And another silver ship added to my fleet. I have written a post on the Santiago, but it is the accompanying the 10 Cent sized matching pin is seldom seen. I don’t know the quantity of these pins that were made for this Commemorative set but there just can’t be many.

Mmmm Chocolate. I don’t think this chocolate mix is related to the Chocolate Moose Fudge factory, but should I care. Sweet Cheat, I can work it off before my A1Cs climb too high.

Okay, so my Chocolate strategy for this yummy 110g Chocolate Moose Rocky Road bar is not to eat this in one sitting. 40g is the suggested serving. Reducing serving size to 25g portions will do leaving a 10g remainder as the weaning off piece. And what my eye spy next is…

It’d bonnie be if Keptin @joshuaslane had these served aboard the Silverton rather than plains on weekends. For the morale of the crew of course.
