Silver Saver’s 2021 Christmas Holiday Eagle

To me the holiday season doesn’t end until after New Year’s Day.
Therefore, @silversaver888’s package arrived in time to qualify as holiday mail so baring any further distractions allow me to share a bit of our history as Stacking sisters. We’re going Pre-Hive, Pre-Ste… that other place too.

We’ve originally met as Content creators on YouTube, a part of the Precious Metals Community around the spring of 2016. Prior to 2016 I was getting quite the education following channels on Sound Money advocates, Austrian Economics and that lead to Precious Metal Stacking.

Angels are one of her favorite themes.

The YouTube Precious Metals Stacking community was naturally male dominated at the time with less than one percent being women as I recall but I do not remember who or where the source of statistics came from. I’d be curious to see if that has changed by now but with the insane Identity politics nowadays, I can’t see anyone attempting a poll just yet.

The Stacking ladies tended to congregate around one particular channel by the name of Silver Diva where we also met others like Lady Liberty Stacker, Coin Keeper, JM Engelhard and so on.
I can reasonably say that in this sub community of Precious metals Stacking is where I came to know @Silversaver888 as Silver Saver and she continues to post video updates to her subscribers.

A beautiful coin! I'm taking a liking to this Type 2 version.

I remember us signing up to Metals Mafia back in 2017 as a social silver showcase & trading platform run by @pit-bullion up until he steered a bunch of us on to ~~Steem~~ Hive. Sadly, he and other YouTube Silver Stackers had left our Community since the Crypto winter. Silver Saver and I are what remains of that group, and I don't think I'd be still here if it were not for my dear silver stacking Sister with me. 👭

Both Silversaver and I prefer Government minted bullion as the bulk of our core savings for maximum recognition, legal tender status, and high liquidity in our respective countries.

My original Government Minted Core stack (ML/ASE/UK/MEX) ratio target is 65%/20%/20%/5% but turns out as 75%/5%/15%/5%. Oh well, I'm far off my mark and it is what it is and American Silver Eagles have always been a high demand bullion coin in Canada no matter what year it is. Another work in progress.

Do you have a target mix for Government bullion too?

I'm happy that my Stacking Sister helped nudged me back into that direction this Christmas.
