Corona Virus Lockdown And Keeping Spirits High With The Splinterlands Game – Day 11

It is day eleven of the lockdown and from all indication there is every chance we will see an extension to the total lockdown of the state. The streets and roads are looking deserted as the news of the arrest of people that went for morning jogging spreads and with the visible presence of security agents on different parts of the state.

There are still reports of more people testing positive to the corona virus and this is troubling news. The good news though is that more people are getting discharged from hospital after recovering and testing negative. I think it is great that a lot of people are recovering from the in my country, we had over 45 recovers, seven deaths and almost 300 cases as at today.

It is also great to hear and see that the British MP has been released from ICU, loved the show of love he got as he was moved from the ICU, it shows people care and love him. I pray he gets better.

I got the Earth splinter today but changed it and got the Life splinter for my daily quest. I then got the Life splinter and I can say it was an ok battle day. I won seven of the eleven battles I fought. I used the The Peakrider summoner a lot because it gave my monsters three extra armor while deducting one range attack from the enemy monsters. I also used the sneak monsters Feral Spirit and Silvershield Assassin to cripple the enemy from the rear and finally, where the mana points where high I used the monster Shieldbearer at the back as it has loads of armor already and does reduced return fire when hit by ranged weapon. It have the Taunt ability so helps divert attack from my tank while I finish off the enemy tank and other monsters.

Rewards day 160

What can I say, I think my rewards were a bit fair if I must say, I got two Epic cards, four Rare cards, some Common cards, some Legendary And Alchemy potions and a bunch of DECs. I still haven’t got a Gold or Legendary card for a long time now, I don’t know if it is the same with you guys. I don’t know if the potions are working at all. But like I said, today was better than yesterday for the rewards side of things.
