It is day twelve today and with the number of infected people still growing there is every likelihood that there is going to be an extension in the lockdown. Food stuff sellers are turning to local cart pushers to transport their food stuff from some of the village markets to the main town. I must say that this is a very tedious work as it can take them more than five hours to get to their destination. The cart pushers don’t get rich from doing this but at this point any income is highly valued as almost all economic activities are grounded.

As at 9:30pm yesterday, the NCDC (the government body in charge of disease control) reports that we have seventeen new cases which brings the total number of infected cases to 305 and of this number 58 people have been discharge while 7 dead. I pray we have more recoveries and less death.

Globally, I was shocked to watch in the news that the US recorded 2000 deaths in 24 hours. That is really sad. This thing has really taken a lot of lives and is affecting the social life of the people.

I got the Earth splinter again today and had to change it because of lack of maxed up monsters to do battles at this level. My change got me the Dragon splinter for my daily quest and I kinda loved it. I completed my daily quest winning five of the eight battles I fought.

Champion I league reached

Battles fought

When my job with the daily quest was completed I discovered that I had just less than one hundred points to enter the next league which is the champion I league, so I decided to do more battles and see if I could get to my goal for the season. Fortunately, I was able to hit it big time.

Rewards day 161

I do hope things are getting better for me as I got an Orb which hasn’t come my way in a long time now. Even at the Champion I league level I got just one Rare cards, some Common cards, some Legendary, some Alchemy potions and a bunch of DECs. No Gold and no Legendary card for me today still.

I got two Rare cards and three Common cards which is fair enough as they are cards and not potions or DECs (tiny drops).

How you position your monsters in the line of battle matters a lot when it comes to strategy for doing battles in the splinterlands games. How you position your monsters can determine whether you will win your battle or whether you will lose it.

As you can see in the battle below, I have almost similar monsters with similar abilities with that of the enemy. While I put my dummy at the back line to delay the attack of the enemy reaching my main attack monsters, my opponent put his/her dummy in front which means I could easily attack his/her attack monsters first and disable his/her treat.
You watch that battle using the link below, thanks:
