Yes, I think it was a smart move. Saved us months of development.

I don’t see Ecency as competition. They’re building a great app for Hive as a broad application and we’re building a highly specific app for LeoFinance that uses Hive as the background database.

Quite like Splinterlands building for their app natively and Hive in the background.

Ecency is awesome though. I wish them great success and think it’s a beautiful application for using Hive directly.
