I'm quite confident that demand will pick up rather soon honestly. The people renting out cards are probably the ones already pretty involved with the game and thus much more likely to know about the game.
On average, the people renting these cards are a lot less involved with the game so a lot of them just doesn't know about the feature yet. We'll meet somewhere in the middle eventually ;-)
