Think like Elon: Think beyond the box.
Elon Musk is currently the richest man in the world. Elon is a big time entrepreneur, investor. He is also the founder, CEO, and Chief Engineer at SpaceX; angel investor, CEO, and founder of The Boring Company; and co-founder of Neuralink and OpenAI. CEO and Product Architect of Tesla, Inc.
Elon is known for his crazy near impossible ideas. Few months ago his space venture SpaceX successfully launched 48 new Starlink satellites into orbit. His dreams of developing a hotel in space where humans could easily travel outside the world to relax, book a room and enjoy life.
We can call him crazy but his ability to think beyond the box and his crazy ideas has made him who he is today. He keeps pushing hard enough to actualize his dreams.
He probably must have traveled all over the world and got bored of the different beautiful cities. Then he thought of a place people don't really frequent or maybe a new adventure then the idea of shuttling to space for a vacay. Well, I'm yet to even fly on an airplane for the first time. ๐. It's crazy but he's making it. Those crazy ideas are making him rich.
Few weeks back he tweeted of acquiring Twitter and he did achieve it for a whooping sum of money. If I had one tenth of the amount he used to acquire Twitter I probably would have flown for the first time in my life, vacation In Dubai and definitely pay to learn more and enrich my craft.
Sitting down to think about these. It's clear that one of the characteristics of Elon is that he thinks beyond the box. And clearly that's one attribute an entrepreneur should have.
Thinking beyond the box Simply means thinking beyond what we already know, from a new perspective to discover a fact or phenomenon that already exists but is unknown. That's one of the keys to financial freedom.
Think crazy ideas analyze it, then if it's worth it. Make it happen. The world already is filled with problems and finding a solution for it can get you financial freedom.
We saw companies like Netflix make millions during the pandemic. Why?. Because people were bored and needed something to entertain them and Netflix was there. That's what it means to find a solution to a problem.
It might sound crazy but as we have seen there's money in crazy ideas.
