Hello my beautiful Hive Family!

Today I would like to introduce myself to Leo Finance, writing my first post from leofinance.io and sharing a report about my achievements and growth on Hive so far since day 1.

It has been almost three months now, since I started my adventure on Hive the day 2nd of September 2021, which was actually the day before my birthday. I didn't know anything about Hive before and that day I was supposed to do a meeting with a very good friend I met in Barcelona, @roger.remix, who was going to teach me things about the Crypto market, for which I was eager to learn more.

I started around March investing and trading in the Crypto Market and I was frustrated because I lost most of my money for lack of knowledge and way too emotional trading, but something inside me, that same voice that told me to start, was still telling me to keep on going. I had the dream to be able to live with Crypto and dedicate my life to arts like Photography, Digital Art and Music Production because I always felt this strong desire to be active with my creativity and find a way to let it flow freely, without having to think about money. I have been, since the beginning of this whole pandemic, in a very bad economic situation. I was working for the previous years as a photographer in Hotels in the summer in Spain, but lately I was not enjoying the job so much due to problems with my boss and decided to move to Barcelona and try to make my living there as a photographer. I was just at the beginning when the pandemic came out and since then I haven't worked one day.

I was not expecting my friend that day to show me about this incredible Hive World and the possibility of making a living with it, not with the necessity of having a good knowledge about Crypto and blockchains, but using my creative and artistic side.

He told me something like: "why don't you forget about making money and dedicate yourself to what you really want to do? See it on the fun side! Money takes all the fun away, because we are too much emotionally attached to it. You can start blogging on Hive about your photography and you can make NFTs and sell them on the market."

I have to say, of course, at the beginning I wasn't too convinced it could work, but still I had hopes and so I began blogging and until now I have to say I am very happy about my progress and earnings so far.

Badges and Awards

Very recently, thanks again to my friend's suggestions, help and actual tokens he generously sent me to get me started, I recently started to get familiar with some liquidity pool and trading Hive's 2nd layer tokens to do some, as he calls it, "MATHEMAGIC" ( I love this word!) and multiply my coins.

I have mostly posted about photography but also about music and once I wrote a post in the Abundance Tribe community.

Since today, without counting this current post, I have made 47 posts on my blog also trying posting from different front-ends such as Peakd.com, ecency.com, d.buzz, 3speak.tv, neoxian.city and explored sometimes through proofofbrain.io, leofinance.io, waivio.com and inji.com.

I have been dedicating a lot of time to curation, not only voting but also commenting, giving 2nd layer tokens tips and basically doing my best to engage with others and try to show my support and appreciation, not only to grow my followers number but to try and be an example and show how we should all support and help one another, to motivate each other and grow together on the blockchain. I think this is a very important role everyone should be playing here.

I love Hive because I really see the chance to be appreciated as an artist thanks to the incredible support offered by some wealthy curation team and individual curators, and also many very nice communities of every kind and topics. And I love the idea of crypto currencies as an alternative to the obsolete monetary system as a form of financial freedom for everyone. And I especially love these words @roger.remix told me about the possibility to free ourselves first and then others from this modern world slavery we are all victims, using Hive to make it possible.

I am with @roger.remix now currently collaborating, working on some projects on Hive about a curation team and the making of a new community and maybe even a new token. I won't say too much about it yet because it is still a work in progress.

Another idea he had, it would be, in case he got back to Barcelona, with me and probably another person he has a project with, to live together in a "Hive House" were we could also work side by side to all our projects on the blockchain. It would be for sure fun to document it here on Hive!

I am still in a bad financial situation for now, kind of surviving here in Barcelona without a job but fortunately still with a roof over my head, even if having difficulties with paying my rent and fortunately having some help with food provided by a social assistance program. I have to admit it, I have never fell so low in my life before, but I am not ashamed, this is what it is and we fall so that we can get up again (I think this was a sentence from Alfred in a Batman movie!).

But I do not give up, I believe that Hive is really going to make the change in my life that I have been looking for all these years, It could be an amazing "Proof of Concept" on showing what Hive can do especially for artists who are struggling to make a living with their creativity.

For now I keep on blogging and working on some future NFTs, working on my photography, my music, learning new things especially about photo manipulation, digital art, video making and editing and also about crypto in general. I never stop learning, this is what life is about for me, learning and creating and evolving.

I cannot help but being immensely grateful to @roger.remix for introducing me to Hive, for all the knowledge he did share and still he is sharing with me, for his great patience in teaching, for seeing in me potential and motivating me, for including me in some of his projects but also I thank him for all the great times we shared together in Barcelona, our deep philosophical and spiritual conversations, thanks for being there when I needed someone to talk about my problems and open my heart to. Most of all thanks for being a real friend.

Some more special thanks go to the Photography Lovers Community and especially to @derangedvisions and @castleberry for their support; to the Alien Art Hive Community; the Black And White Community and especially to @monochromes; to all the great Curation Teams with all their Curators out there doing a great job supporting good original content on Hive.

I am of course also very grateful to Hive with all the ones who are supporting artists on the blockchain and to all who actively contribute with their amazing contents.
