adidas Metaverse Partners Announced

Boy oh boy... adidas is going hard with this Metaverse announcement. A few days ago adidias announced very vaguely that they are building a metaverse in Sandbox. I wrote about it here if you wanna check it out and get the scoop. They tweeted earlier today and I was kinda mind blown. The video is pretty cool too, I love how much they're hyping this.

More partners?

The initial announcement was that adidas had partnered with Coinbase with no context. Well today we get more details they're "entering the Metaverse" with Bored Ape Yacht Club, gmoney, and PUNKS comic. Still very cryptic. I only have speculation as to what they could be doing. Obviously there's going tot be collaboration gear and probably accessories for you avatar. I joked about walking around flexing your NFT yeezy's and thought it was hilarious so there. I said it again.

As before, users are directed to the adidas CONFIRMED app. Again, putting the metaverse and NFTs in the hands of millions of people that have potentially never heard of NFTs.

If you use the app, it's literally in your face as soon as you open it. This is the kind of marketing that can make shit really pop. adidas isn't new to this shit, they know exactly what they're doing. Sorry I didn't remember to crop these so... yes I know I have too many fucking notifications. That's my usual life. Not that any of it is important lol. My burnt hand is killing me at the moment so I won't summarize the app screenshots for you.. but really interesting shit.

They keep it so damn vague it has to have tons of people dying to see what's coming.
