Bringing the Masses to Hive with LeoFinance | Do Your Part

Shifting Focus to the Outside
I've been doing a lot of adjusting in terms of what kind of content I'm creating lately. This is largely in part to the sentiment of the crypto space, be it on Twitter, Reddit, or wherever. No matter where you look, you're seeing fear in terms of crypto. We're at a level of extreme fear in the crypto markets and that can be intimidating.
The good thing is that there is a lot less noise and it's easier to focus on the fundamentals. As a LeoFinance Ambassador, I'm making it my primary objective to get as much outward-facing content out there as possible while marketing on web2 platforms.
Twitter is one of the first places people go when they're looking for crypto news, gossip, and even new projects to invest in. We should absolutely be taking advantage of this critical time in the crypto space to maximize our efforts to bring the masses to Hive.
Being a Twitter noob myself, it's a lot of trial and error for me. I don't really get how to grow on the platform, but I feel like my recent tweets are getting a lot more engagement. According to the analytics, they're starting to reach more people as well.
While the number of impressions on each of these tweets is not insanely high, it's more than nothing. Any amount of fresh eyes on LeoFinance is good, because the ultimate goal is to grow the platform. If a Twitter user sees one of our tweets, and opens the link they can easily sign up with their Twitter account.
This is the reason that it's important to try to draw more users from Twitter specifically. They can sign up and start earning crypto with their already-existing Twitter account. As you can see, the total amount of impressions these 3 tweets got was 934 and the total number of engagements was 60.
While some of the engagement is likely other LeoFinance users, there's a high chance that these are people that have never heard of the platform. People that have no idea that you can earn crypto by blogging without investing any money at all.
Imagine a Leo user with a huge Twitter following doing the same thing. Maybe not sharing every single post on Twitter, but at least one a day. With the recent announcement that LEO power is going to earn you a share of LeoFinance advertising revenue, the incentive to attract new users is bigger than ever.
After reading @niallon11's most recent post about building an external brand, I was inspired to pin my Learn Crypto Stuff index to my Twitter account. As soon as someone clicks on my profile, they're not only going to see a link to my LeoFinance profile, but a link straight to an index of some of my best newbie friendly content. I've had the link to my Leo account in my profile for quite some time, but the pinned tweet is front and center.
We need to make sure that when someone is Google searching how to earn cryptocurrency, they're directed to LeoFinance. Everything I'm talking about here is going to increase the ranking slowly but surely. We need to be following each other on these platforms, interacting, and engaging just like we do here.
When people see that kind of buzz, they become attracted, and curious. The more interaction a single tweet has, the more likely a user is to click on it. This is just basic psychology. When they realize what they've clicked on and that they can earn crypto by blogging, they'll be quick to sign up with Twitter and get to it.
This is another area where we come in. We need to be welcoming of new users and encouraging them. It's very easy to make a few posts and just give up because you aren't earning much of anything. I remember my first few posts didn't even get a vote, and if they did it was totally worthless.
Let's all do our part in bringing the masses to Hive via LeoFinance. The growth of the platform is crucial to the growth of us and our portfolios at the end of the day. You can even earn POSH tokens by sharing your content on Twitter, so what are you waiting for?!
