Hivestats Got a Sexy Makeover and Learned New Tricks!
The rumors were true! It finally happened! Hivestats got some love. The Leo team is hard at work on PolyCUB and it feels like it's just around the corner. They haven't forgotten about the other Leo apps though.

Hivestats is a very useful tool for Hive users to track their progress. It gives analytics, reward breakdowns, and even operations data. I check it every now and then because I find it useful when setting goals for myself. With this new update, it got a lot more useful. Right at the top, there's links to Featured Posts on LeoFinance which should drive more traffic from Hive to LeoFinance. Also gets user's posts in from of a bigger audience that may not have even been looking for posts. The other major update is in the Wallet tab.
Now we get like price feeds for HIVE, HBD, LEO, and CUB all right there in the wallet. Prices are provided by CoinGecko as well, rather than CoinMarketCap which I much prefer. Below that you also get a peak into CUB Kingdoms. You can see the CUB staking APY and there's a direct link. There's also the bLEO-BNB APY right below. These look juicy to really anyone that might be looking for passive income opportunities. I also noticed that a lot of actions like sending and staking can be done right from Hivestats now which is pretty cool. This was a small but much needed update, and a nice Christmas present. There's much more coming as you can see in the original post such as an "Opportunuties" tab where you can see different passive income opportunities on Hive.
There's also some hints dropped in the AMA about different HBD integrations. The most exciting thing for me was the possibility of an HBD kingdom on Cub Finance. Khal talked about the different ways this could be done such as native HBD staking or wrapped HBD. Wrapped HBD would definitely be interesting and I think it would provide more liquidity for HBD. With this kind of model, you could stake your HBD for the 12% APY and also get a CUB APY on top of that. This makes staking HBD much more attractive and we need that in order for more of it to be issued into the market. HBD is a great algorithmic stable coin option but it needs a lot more supply to scale like Terra Luna UST. Exciting things to come for us Hivers. 2022 is the year of Hive. LFG!
Hivestats suggestions
Dark mode. Dark mode. Aside from that, I think most of the analytics that people actually care about are there. I'd love to see a customizable price feed for Hive-Engine tokens. Like maybe a list on the main page where users could add Hive-Engine tokens they want to track on a daily basis. Of course when PolyCUB is upon us, we're gunna need price feed and APY opportunities for that as well. Incredible work @leofinance team!
