Hey frens

I hope you're doing well. Today I woke up in a bit of a funk, got some shit news yesterday that really fucked me up so I didn't finish a post I was working on. Talking to my guy @trippymane really helped me get out of a bad headspace. If you haven't checked out his content, please do so. He's new to LeoFinance but has been on Hive for a while now. I was doing my daily scroll through the magical land of crypto Twitter and saw that Sandbox alpha just went live! This is a metaverse game that has been long awaited. Let's jump in and earn some crypto!

The Sandbox

The first thing we need to do is create an account. You can use Google, Twitter, Facebook, or the Wombat wallet. I don't have my main WAX wallet linked to wombat so I used Twitter. Super easy, just authorize the app. Maybe one day there will be a "log in with Hive" button :)

Once you're done creating the account, it's time to play. There are Alpha quests, which I assume is where you can earn the 1,000 SAND and 3 NFTs. We will see! All rewards distributed AFTER alpha is over. Just for some perspective - SAND is valued at $6.74 right now. Holy fuckin shit! You can earn like $6000 for doing the alpha.. Talk about play to earn. The only downside is in order to earn the crazy play to earn rewards is to own an Alpha Pass. Te=hey're like 2.5ETH on Opensea. I definitely can't afford one lol.

Once you download and install, all you do is click Play on the browser.

First thing I see when I jump in is the Atari and Snoop Dogg setups. Fucking amazing. Snoop Dogg really loves this NFT shit and I have mad respect for him.

The SNoopverse is a place to play games, earn NFTs, and hang out. I wonder if there will be NFT blunts. If not, Snoop you need to make that happen. Deadmau5 even has a setup!

Even though I can't do the play to earn shit, it's really cool. For an Alpha, this is awesome. Running around checkout out all the different spaces was so fun.

I see this game becoming one of the most active metaverse games that exists as it comes out of Alpha. Man I wish i had an alpha pass but you know... That's life. Obviously I missed out on this amazing opportunity to earn some SAND.
