Not financial, Not crypto ... But Blogging!

This is one of the few blogs, that I really thought about for a long time whether to write or not. But today I want to pay a little more attention to something that is not so much crypto / financial related, but at the same time also has the common ground that we expect here at Leofinance.

No Holidays Yet

Following the blog @silverstackeruk recently wrote in which he asked people to sign up as writer for LBI so that it can be made possible for both @silverstackeruk, @taskmaster4450le and I @hetty-rowan to allow us a well-deserved vacation. There were exactly 2 people on this blog who volunteered to take care of this. That is not so much when I consider that on average we get between 10 and 30 comments per blog from people who follow our LBI blogs every week.

Don't Get Me Wrong Here

Now, I understand better than anyone that it can be a load that you do not want or cannot have in your weekly / daily rhythm. Yes, it takes some of your free time, and if you don't have that much at your disposal, it can just be TOO much. Of course I understand that very well.

But there were also a few comments that really surprised me. People who don't consider themselves good enough to write for LBI. And I want to set that straight. You do not need to have high qualifications to be able to write for LBI.

I Really Had NO Idea What To Write About

Based on my own experience, when I started writing for LBI I really had no idea what to write about. First, I was certainly not an experienced financial writer. Secondly, I was not super active on Leofinance at the time. Third, my blogs have never been among the TOP earners. Yes I got a taste of what it's like to receive the @curie, @ocd, @curangel and @appreciator support. You don't get that if you can't write anything meaningful. Correct! But the times that I have received that appreciation has mainly been when I wrote photography or pet related blogs. And especially the photography tutorials I've written in the past, they were very well received. What does that have to do with finances? What could I as a 'general blogger' contribute to the success for @lbi-token. Because everything that concerns LBI takes place within the @leofinance community, I was naturally expected to set up financially related blogs as well. I seriously doubted whether I could do this. Until I talked to @silverstackeruk.

Writing every week about what LBI is, what it does, what the expectations are, what the investments are, what we plan to do, in short everything LBI related ... that is pretty much covered by @silverstackeruk and @taskmaster4450le. The only thing that was important for me to keep in mind was that my blogs shouldn't consist of just a few words, there had to be something financially related in them, but you don't need to have studied higher mathematics to do that. You can make almost everything in life financially related! In addition, the intention was that I would be consistent, not that I would give up after a month of writing … No, I get that. LBI is a long-term plan. So I took that into consideration.

Well, that came down to a few 'requirements' that are set for my blogs. Not too short, and somewhat financial/crypto related. Besides that, I was given complete freedom to write HOW and WHAT I wanted to do.

I Have Learned A Lot

And that gave me enough confidence to take on this. Now we are about seven months further, and I have learned a lot myself by writing for LBI.

I AM NOT AN EXPERT

I dived into topics that I hadn't thought about before. I have subjected many cryptos to a closer examination. And no, of course I don't pretend to be an expert. I am not… and I do not wish to be named. Nor am I the one on whom the project stands or falls. Without me LBI still exists just as easily as with me. I am totally replaceable in the sense that another writer can just as easily do the same things I do. Finally, my blogs are not unique in that I have written content up to now that could not have been written by someone else.

Everyone here knows how he/she comes to the decision to invest in a particular crypto, which you should pay attention to BEFORE diving headlong into it. We all know how important it is to do your own research, so my blogs are far from unique in that regard. I really can't say that I'm good at writing those reviews. So it's really a mystery to me why people think they wouldn't be good enough to write for LBI.

Requirements

As far as I am aware, LBI only has a few requirements for the writers…

  • Blogs are not shorter than at least 500 words (I honestly don't even know if my own contest already meets that, just to indicate to show how strict this is handled)
  • It is financial / crypto / lbi related (this can be applied very widely)
  • You keep your promise. When you say you're writing, you do that...

That's it!

Why Not Good Enough?

There are no requirements for your level of language, there are no minimum requirements for leo/hive holdings, you don't need to have 5 years of blogging experience, nor do you need to have a degree in literature.

Why, not good enough?

I Was Really Surprised

What I really want to say with this blog is that these reactions really surprised me, and I was also a bit shocked. These reactions showed more to me of a lack of self-confidence, which is not necessary for anyone here.

Free Choice For Everyone

I just wanted to get rid of that. Whether someone wants to sign up or not is completely independent of this, that is a free choice for everyone! But I wanted to make it clear with this blog that you don't have to be an excellent blogger to write for LBI.

Okay, so far for this blog. Tomorrow I will write my usual coin review, and as I stated earlier ... I don't even know which one it's going to be. So stay tuned, and see ya'll tomorrow!
