My activities in blogging started when I tried my luck as an AdSense blogger. Yet, I failed. My failure does not stop my passion for blogging. I search for blogging platforms that can give me a cool income.

St**m was the first place. In 2017, I tried to get lucky but failed the second time. My journey did not stop. Bitcointalk is not a blogging platform but it is a forum. I joined the forum. I made good money there. My greediness pushed me to create multiple accounts. Finally, all my accounts were banned.

I paused my journey in blogging. I did my offline activities. One day, I logged in to my st**m account. Hive was a bonus of airdrop from hardfork.

The New Adventure in Blogging starts

I started my hive blogging. In the first month of hardfork, I was very frustrated. I did not make any income in hive. I went back to stem. I earned better in stm. When most stm tribes migrated to hive, I lost the source of small earning. My most small earning in st**m was from tribes. I earned few cents per post.

Learning by doing

I spent most of my blogging activities in hive after that. I read some posts from trending authors. I tried to practice their style of writing. I felt that my posts get better responses than before from other hive members. However, I found it difficult to consistent in the writing style of others because the style was not mine. I often had no ideas to write. I began to read again what should I do to improve my writing. I join the blogging challenge. There were 30 topics for 3o days. I started from day 1. Most of the topics talked about myself so that I wrote a post everyday. When I joined the 30-day of blogging challenge, I could write easily and smoothly. The given topics helped a lot to write.

I realized that the 30-day of blogging challenge trained me to write better and faster. I could write 300 words in few minutes. Before that, writing 300 words would take hours.

Hive is a social blogging

After more than a year, I have just realized that hive is a social blogging platform where interaction is very crucial. Leo taught and trained me to engage more. I should admit that the first motivation was the reward when I participated in the engagement. I started to comment on some posts. I set a goal to comment on five posts a day. In the first months, I felt burdened with some kinds of engagements. After three months on Leo, I became accustomed to writing comments. I waited for new posts from leo authors after that.

Big challenge to live as a blogger

I want to move to the next step. A full-time blogger will be my goal in the future. I should live from blogging. I begin to stake some potential tokens. First I will stake some leo but the price is not affordable. My rewards from leo should be spared. I cash out some of the rewards. I found POB on my hive-engine wallet. I staked the small reward. I saw the curation reward was amazing with only a few tokens. I browsed posts about POB. I found that the APR was more than 500%. I thought I should buy and stake more POB. I bought some POB when the price was 0.5 or 0.6 hive. I checked my curation reward everyday. Then, I started to post from the front end. Some of my posts earned good rewards. I staked most POB rewards from my posts. Now, I have around 400 POB. I plan to stake 1000 POB in the next few months.

My goal is getting closer

I can see that my goal of being a full-time blogger getting closer. While I told my story in blogging challenge a very kind man @jkr88 donated me a cool camera. The camera helps me a lot in my blogging activities. Some of my photos get good responses from hive members. A very kind hive member @regenerette gave me great advice. She corrected me with my poor grammar. She advised me to install a grammar helper. I followed her advice. I was very shy when I started to write with a grammar helper installed. I decided to learn my grammar from my old books. Besides that, I still use grammar helper on my pc. Since that, I always check my grammar before posting. I still find some mistakes but the mistakes are not as many as before. I hope my English will improve.

Setting realistic goals

I start to set goals on hive. I divide the goal into some parts. They are goals on powers, quality of posts, engagements, friends, or followers. There are too many opportunities on hive that I should not miss. I hope I can achieve my goals and become a full-time blogger.
