A successful farmer should be able to manage finances, planting seasons and seeds. In the farming industry, seasons are a very crucial term when you should decide what crops you want to plant. Besides that, you have to calculate the cost of taking care of your crops before harvesting. In real life, farming will be faced with plant pests, viruses and various plant diseases. Therefore, a successful farmer is a great businessman.

dCrops is a game based on the hive blockchain. This game is a simulation of farming. However, in this game you should only manage, seasons, seeds and timing. You do not have to face the disease of plants. You do not have to maintain the land with fertilizer. It is much simpler. The skill that you need in this game is how to manage your assets, seasons, and planting time.
How to play dCrops?
I am a new player here, but I would like to share my little experience of playing this interesting game.
- You need to log into the game with your hive account. Log in with your hive keychain. You should install the hive keychain on your browser because the login page is only available with the hive keychain.
- Click on the Shop page! I am here playing with my different account @mummyrio. This account is for gaming. First , you need to buy the alpha packs. Every pack contains 5 cards. I am not sure if the sale is random or not, but when I bought 1 pack I got one hi-tech land and three seeds. You can buy the packs with your hive or crop token. You will be redirected to the hive key chain payment pop up.
- Cards These are the cards in the game. Your properties will be seen in the number of cards. Here, I have 1 broccoli, and 1 radish. There are four seasons in the game. They are Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Each of these seasons lasts for 15 days, and a seed can only be planted if it belongs in the current season. There are four types of cards. They are common, rare, epic and legendary. Each of the types has special abilities. The lowest rank is common and the highest is legendary.
- Market What is the market? Your cards and lands are tradeable in the game marketplace. You can sell your card even though your card is cooled down. You can shop with your crop token of swap.hive.
- Playing the game To start playing , click the PLAY! page!. You will see the land that you have. Click on one of the plots. If you have a seed to be planted, you can start to plant the seed on the plot. In the picture, I have only one seed. It is radish. Radish is planted in the winter season. It will be harvested for seven days. This is the specification for radish. It needs 7 days to be harvested. It has 13 shares at a selling price. Radish is a winter seed.
Conclusion
dCrops is a farming game. It is easy to play. Now the packs of cards are on promotion. You can buy it at a cheap price. I like this game because, it gives me a lot of fun being a farmer. In real life, I like farming, but I have no land. I hope with this simulation game, I can have my own farm in real life in the future, so that I can practice how to manage the farming industry.
