Issued LEO Tokens

Let’s take a look into token issuance and how it is distributed over time.

Below is a chart that represents the cumulative issued LEO tokens.

This chart is representing the total LEO supply, circulating supply and burned tokens.

A total of 7.91 M issued LEO tokens, 2.15 burned, 5.76M circulating supply.

In the last week the refunds for liquidity providers happened and more LEO was printed. You can read details in this post Wrapped LEO White Paper: Investigative Report, LP Refunds and WLEO Relaunch.

Next is the issued LEO tokens from last week. Here is the chart:

As already mentioned in the last week more LEO was added to the supply in order to refund liquidity providers from the hack. On October 24th more than 500k LEO was printed. Around 250k LEO from the remaining LPs bounties, and around 270k from the LEO team fund.

In the other days the printing ratio is just above 6k LEO per day.

Let’s see how these tokens were distributed. Below is the chart of the top 10 LEO earners this week.

The @leoteam account got 272k LEO, then the @leo.bounites account got 254k LEO. The tokens from these two accounts was then distributed to the LPs.

From the regular earnings @onealfa.leo is on the top with 3682 LEO in the week.

Reward from Bounties

Usually the bounties rewards are for the HP delegators to the @leo.voter account. Users who delegate their HP to the @leo.voter receive daily payouts in the form of LEO tokens at a rate of ~16% APR.

In the last week the main payments from the bounties went to the liquidity providers incentives.

@themightyvolcano is on the top with 232k LEO refund, followed by @brettpullen with 63k LEO and @taskmaster4450le with 60k.

Staking LEO

Below is a chart that represents the daily flow of staked and unstaked LEO tokens. A positive bar going up shows a day where more LEO was staked than unstaked.

July 2019 is excluded from the chart for better visibility. Those are the first days and there are a lot of tokens staked.

In the last month there has been large moves in the staking and unstaking numbers, due to the liquidity providers on Uniswap.
After the hack we can see that the staking numbers are up again.

Overall, in the last week the staking has been up, increasing the LEO staked from 4.2M to around 4.7M. A 500k more LEO staked. If we add the previous week as well with 500k, in these two weeks 1M LEO was staked.

Below is the chart of the top 10 users that staked LEO last week:

The @mightyvolcano staked 240k LEO in the previous week, basically staking all the LEO refunded from the LPs @brettpullen on the second place with 63k LEO, followed by @taskmaster4450 with 31k staked.

In general, a lot of the liquidity providers refunds ended as staked LEO.

The Overall Flow of the LEO Token Supply:

The yellow (liquid LEO) is an interesting category. Almost back to the levels before the Uniswap liquidity providers program.

Below is a chart of the ratio staked/unstaked tokens.

82% LEO staked! Last week it was around 81%. Even with the large amounts of liquid LEO being distributed in the last week as refunds the staking share remained high and improved a bit.

Out of the current supply 5.76M tokens, 4.74M, are staked and 1.02 M are liquid on Hive Engine.
