Project Blank UI in Closed Alpha | What's the Release Date for Open Alpha?
The Project Blank UI has been coming along really well. ICYMI: we have spent a disproportionate amount of time in the past 6 months building an entirely new UI from scratch.
This UI was originally intended to be Project Blank - a Spinoff project to rival Twitter.
Over the past 1-2 years, we've learned a lot in this industry. We've taken those lessons and decided not to do a spinoff UI and spinoff token from LEO.
Instead, we merged Project Blank and LeoFinance and made the LEO token the core of both.
Now, we'll have 1 unified UI. An "Everything App" to rule all other UIs.
This UI will have a lot of core features but likely the most important is usability.
When you immediately open the App, it looks like Twitter. As you start to dive deeper, you start to realize that there is a lot more beneath the surface - long-form content, HIVE wallet, LEO wallet.... etc.
But on the front page, you see a "clone" of twitter in many ways. You see an experience that is familiar and easy to get started with.
Our goal this year is to 1). release the UI to Open Alpha and then replace leofinance.io with it in Q1 2023. 2). Spend the rest of 2023 grinding to get to 5,000 monthly active users.
