SplinterGlossary: Armored Up Ruleset
In this ruleset all monsters receive +2 additional Armor to their normal Armor stat. If a monster had zero base armor, it still receives +2 armor.
Magic attacks normally bypass armor, so that can be a way to play this ruleset. If the opponent does the same, focusing on Health points could make the difference.
Another way to counter magic in the Armored Up ruleset is by using Grandmaster Rathe, which turns Armor into Void Armor, taking away the advantage of the Magic attacks to go through Armor.
Armored Up is countered by Rust or Wizard of Eastwood's summoner ability.
