In the past it was called Summary of Commentary on Current Economic Conditions.
A report put out be the Fed. It is produced 8 times a year ahead of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meetings. The Beige Book provides information on current economic conditions by each Federal Reserve Bank in its district.
