The renminbi is the currency for the People's Republic of China. This is the 5th most traded currency in the world. The ISO-4217 is CNY.
It is a currency that is broken down into the Yuan which is followed by the jiao and then the fen. Each divides down into 10.
The People's Bank of China is the central bank that oversees the renminbi.
