A term applied to those who do not believe that digital assets, cryptocurrency in particular, have no inherent value nor much of a future. They might not be ardent opposition or spreaders of FUD. Instead, they are people who do not buy into the potential being espoused by proponents of this new technology.

For this reason no-coiners do not hold coins such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. They are equally as likely to avoid Layer 2 tokens that are part of different applications.

The avoidance of digital currency altogether and the reasons why is up to debate. Some speculate that no-coiners are upset about missing out on Bitcoin in the early days. There are others who feel there is a generational gap. Those who fit into this class are called "boomers".
