SplinterGlossary: Reward Token
As a result of winning ranked games in Splinterlands, reward tokens are earned through gameplay, besides points for the season and daily focus missions.
That reward token is the same as the one that can be found in loot chests.
The reward token for the Splinterlands game economy is Splintershards (SPS). It replaced Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) in this role.
DEC became a transactional-only token, with incentives to remain around the Shop value of 1 USD for 1000 DEC.
