HIVE = $0.36? This is not a problem but a great opportunity!
The year 2022 will certainly not be remembered as a good year for the world of blockchains. The collapse of LUNA a few months ago and the collapse of FTT yesterday both caused a general decrease in the value of almost all cryptocurrencies.
Among the cryptocurrencies in the top 10 positions by capitalization, only MATIC (Polygon) shows a green-colored chart relating to a 7-day time interval.
The problems that the FTX ecxhange has had have produced strong negative repercussions on almost all blockchain projects, and this fact can be immediately visualized by looking at the graph on the website https://cryptobubbles.net/ relating to cryptocurrencies that are in the top 100 by capitalization.
I have read several articles about the event involving FTX and the intervention of Binance, which took over to help FTX save the situation. There are several theories and several possible hypotheses about what happened....
I am not a trader, I am not a financial advisor but I am just a simple person who loves decentralization and who loves the "philosophy" behind the term blockchain.
From my humble point of view what happened to LUNA some time ago and what happened to FTT yesterday can be summarized and can be attributed to one and only one problem: the low level of decentralization of the projects involved.
By the way, I don't understand after all the events that have been happening for the past two years how people can still continue to entrust their cryptocurrencies to strongly centralized entities.
Why entrust one's cryptocurrencies of decentralized projects to a centralized exchange? Why buy tokens of centralized projects?
The only logical motivation might be speculative but I don't see any other valid reasons!
I would not be at all comfortable having my HIVEs or HBDs on a centralized exchange. My cryptocurrencies must be at my complete disposal at all times!
I think the future is solely through decentralization, true decentralization and my future investments will always be driven by this concept and I will only invest in projects where the level of decentralization is very high.
High level of decentralization = high level of security
Hive was the first blockchain project where I saw potential and it is the blockchain project where I have a vision and mid- to long-term goals.
Hive definitely has aspects that can be improved but Hive is certainly one of the most decentralized blockchain projects with the most utility that I have used to date.
The value of the HIVE token has also decreased due to the problems FTX and its FTT token has had.
Today November 9 1 token HIVE has a value of 0.360997$ while only 24 hours ago it had a value of 0.465390$. In 24 hours the HIVE token has lost 22.43% of its value.
But HIVE is not a token of a centralized exchange. HIVE is the token of a fully decentralized and evolving blockchain. HIVE is the token of an ever-expanding ecosystem of projects, sites and tools.
My growth goals on Hive are very high goals that will most probably take a long time to achieve and for that reason the current dollar value of the HIVE token is not a problem for me at all but is an opportunity to increase the amount of HIVE tokens and HP tokens in my possession.
On Hive, in just over 3 1/2 years since my sign-up, I have never made a power down. In my first two years I always put 100% HP as the mode of payment for my posts. For the past year or so I have chosen the 50% HP/50% HBD payment mode, and I made this choice to take advantage of times like the present with the goal of increasing the number of HP tokens faster by taking advantage of downward fluctuations in HIVE tokens.
I have always considered the value of HIVE underestimated in relation to the many utilities that the Hive blockchain has, and the current value is in my opinion very very low indeed.
This morning, as I saw the value of $0.36 for a HIVE token, I immediately withdrew the HBD tokens I had placed in Savings.
The HBD in Savings offer a APR of 20% while the APR for using HP tokens is approximately 10% (curation + staking).
If I had short term goals I should prefer HBDs but for a user like me who likes to:
- publish content
- vote and comment on other Hive authors
- invest in Hive's liquidity pools (Diesel Pools)
- invest and play in gaming projects built and developed on Hive (Splinterlands, Dcrops, Rising Star, Hashkings, ....)
- Accumulate second-level tokens from the Hive blockchain.
...HP tokens are much more valuable than HBD tokens because they measure a user's influence on the blockchain and I want to increase my weight on Hive.
I don't currently have the ability to put external liquidity on Hive because the earnings from the jobs I do in real life go towards my family's needs and the needs of my little Chiara who is 9 years old but if I had funds available today I would buy a nice amount of HIVE tokens.
If I had a lot of funds available I could also risk some of my funds by investing in the purchase of FTT tokens at current value but only for speculative reasons and then use any profits in investing in decentralized projects like Hive.
In my current situation I will try to take advantage of the current value of HIVE to increase my Hive Power by using and selling the tokens I have available at this time.
My withdrawal of HBD tokens into Savings will be completed in just under three days.
If in three days the value of HIVE tokens is equal to or less than $0.40 I will use all HBD tokens in my possession to purchase HIVE and then do Power Up.
Based on the current value of HBD tokens and HIVE tokens and if these values do not change in three days, with 828 HBD I should be able to get an amount of 2160 HIVE = 2160 HP.
That would be a good step forward for me toward the growth goals I have set for myself.
I also placed two purchase orders (Bids) this morning.
I checked just now and one order is still pending while the first order I placed has already been completed and with 50 HBD I got 142,857 HIVE.
I also have tokens of projects from other blockchains and will evaluate whether to use them to increase my Hive Power even more.
Those on Hive who have short-term projects and goals or are in continuous power down will experience this moment with sadness and frustration. Those on the other hand and like me who have medium to long term goals will experience this moment as a chance and an opportunity to consolidate their position in a project that has so many utilities and so much potential (this is my personal opinion and not financial advice).
Hive has so many projects, so many Dapps, so many good developers, so many users publishing quality content, and above all it has a strong and great community. Now is the time to be even more active than in the past. Now is the time to promote Hive even more than before. Now is the time to continue to be an active part of a real decentralized and valuable project! For those like me who believe in the Hive project and look at the medium to long term the value of HIVE today is not a problem but definitely an opportunity! ;)

You can continue to be a simple number, a simple source of data and wealth for centralized projects like Facebook & Co. without receiving anything or almost anything in return.

L'anno 2022 non sarà certo ricordato come un anno positivo per il mondo delle blockchains. Il crollo di LUNA avvenuto qualche mese fa e il crollo di FTT avvenuto ieri hanno causato entrambi una diminuzione generale del valore di quasi tutte le crittovalute.
Tra le crittovalute nelle prime 10 posizioni per capitalizzazione solo MATIC (Polygon) mostra un grafico di colore verde relativo ad un intervallo di tempo di 7 giorni.
I problemi che ha avuto l'ecxhange FTX hanno prodotto forti ripercussioni negative su quasi tutti i progetti blockchain e questo dato è immediatamente visualizzabile guardando il grafico del sito https://cryptobubbles.net/ relativo alle crittovalute che sono nella top 100 per capitalizzazione.
Ho letto diversi articoli sulla vicenda che ha coinvolto FTX e sull'intervento di Binance che è subentrata in aiuto di FTX per salvare la situazione. Ci sono diverse teorie e diverse possibili ipotesi su quello che è accaduto...
Io non sono un trader, non sono un consulente finanziario ma sono solo una semplice persona che ama la decentralizzazione e che ama la "filosofia" che sta dietro al termine blockchain.
Dal mio modesto punto di vista quello che è accaduto a LUNA tempo fa e quello che è accaduto ieri a FTT può essere sintetizzato e può essere riconducibile ad un solo e unico problema: il basso livello di decentralizzazione dei progetti coinvolti.
Tra l'altro non capisco dopo tutti gli avvenimenti che sono successi da due anni a questa parte come si possa ancora continuare ad affidare le proprie crittovalute a entità fortemenente centralizzate.
Perchè affidare le proprie crittovalute di progetti decentralizzati a un exchange centralizzato? Perchè acquistare token di progetti centralizzati?
L'unica motivazione logica potrebbe essere quella speculativa ma non vedo altre motivazioni valide!
Io non starei per niente tranquillo ad avere i miei HIVE o i miei HBD su un exchange centralizzato. Le mie crittovalute devono essere sempre a mia completa disposizione sempre.
Penso che il futuro passi unicamente attraverso la decentralizzazione, la vera decentralizzazione e i miei investimenti futuri saranno sempre guidati da questo concetto e investirò solo in progetti dove il livello di decentralizzazione è molto alto.
Alto livello di decentralizzazione = alto livello di sicurezza
Hive è stato il primo progetto blockchain in cui ho visto del potenziale ed è il progetto blockchain in cui ho una visione e degli obiettivi di medio-lungo termine.
Hive ha sicuramente degli aspetti migliorabili ma Hive è certamente uno dei progetti blockchain più decentralizzati e con più utilità che ho utilizzato fino ad oggi.
Anche il valore del token HIVE è diminuito per effetto dei problemi che ha avuto FTX e il suo token FTT.
Oggi 9 novembre 1 token HIVE ha un valore di 0.360997$ mentre soltanto 24 ore fa aveva un valore di 0.465390$. In 24 ore il token HIVE ha perso il 22.43% del suo valore.
Ma HIVE non è un token di un exchange centralizzato. HIVE è il token di una blockchain completamente decentralizzata e in continua evoluzione. HIVE è il token di un ecosistema di progetti, siti e tools in continua espansione.
I miei obiettivi di crescita su Hive sono obbiettivi molto alti e che richiederanno probabilmente molto tempo per essere raggiunti e per questo motivo il valore attuale in dollari del token HIVE non è assolutamente un problema per me ma è un'opportunità per aumentare il quantitativo di token HIVE e token HP in mio possesso.
Su Hive, in poco più di 3 anni e mezzo dalla mia iscrizione, non ho mai fatto un power down. Nei miei primi due anni ho sempre messo come modalità di pagamento dei miei post 100% HP. Da circa un anno a questa parte ho scelto la modalità di pagamento 50% HP/50% HBD e ho fatto questa scelta per trarre vantaggi da momenti come quello attuale con l'obiettivo di aumentare in modo più veloce il numero dei token HP sfruttando le oscillazioni al ribasso dei token HIVE.
Ho sempre considerato il valore di HIVE sottostimato in rapporto alle tante utilità che ha la blockchain di Hive e il valore attuale è secondo me davvero molto molto basso.
Questa mattina, come ho visto il valore di 0.36$ per un token HIVE, ho subito fatto il withdraw dei token HBD che avevo messo in Savings.
Gli HBD in Savings offrono un APR del 20% mentre l'APR per l'utilizzo dei token HP è di circa il 10% (curation + staking).
Se avessi obiettivi di breve termine dovrei preferire gli HBD ma per un utente come me a cui piace:
- pubblicare contenuti
- votare e commentare gli altri autori di Hive
- investire nelle liquidity pools di Hive (Diesel Pools)
- investire e giocare nei progetti di gaming costruiti e sviluppati su Hive (Splinterlands, Dcrops, Rising Star, Hashkings, ....)
- accumulare token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive
...i token HP hanno molto più valore dei token HBD perchè misurano l'influenza di un utente sulla blockchain e io voglio aumentare il mio peso su Hive.
Non ho al momento la possibilità di immettere liquidità esterna su Hive perchè i lavori che svolgo nella vita reale sono destinati alle esigenze della mia famiglia e ai bisogni della mia piccola Chiara che ha 9 anni ma se avessi fondi disponibili acquisterei un bel quantitativo di token HIVE.
Se avessi avuto tanti fondi disponibili avrei potuto anche rischiare una parte dei miei fondi investendo nell'acquisto dei token FTT al valore attuale ma solo per motivi speculativi e per poi utilizzare gli eventuali profitti nell'investimento in progetti decentralizzati come Hive.
Nella mia situazione attuale cercherò di sfruttare il valore attuale di HIVE per aumentare il mio Hive Power utilizzando e vendendo i token che ho a disposizione in questo momento.
Il mio withdraw dei token HBD in Savings sarà completato tra poco meno di tre giorni.
Se tra tre giorni il valore dei token HIVE sarà uguale o inferiore a 0.40$ utilizzerò tutti i token HBD in mio possesso per acquistare HIVE per poi fare Power Up.
In base al valore attuale dei token HBD e dei token HIVE e se questi valori non dovessero cambiare tra tre giorni, con 828 HBD dovrei riuscire ad ottenere un quantitativo di 2160 HIVE = 2160 HP.
Sarebbe un bel passo avanti per me verso gli obiettivi di crescita che mi sono posto.
Questa mattina ho anche piazzato due ordini di acquisto (Bid).
Ho controllato proprio ora e un ordine è ancora in corso mentre il primo ordine che ho fatto è stato già completato e con 50 HBD ho ottenuto 142.857 HIVE.
Ho anche dei token di progetti di altre blockchain e valuterò se utilizzarli per incrementare ancora di più il mio Hive Power.
Chi su Hive ha progetti e obiettivi di breve termine o è in continuo power down vivrà questo momento con tristezza e frustrazione. Chi invece e come me ha obiettivi di medio-lungo termine vivrà questo momento come un'occasione e un'opportunità per consolidare la propria posizione in un progetto che ha tante utilità e tanto potenziale (è la mia personale opinione e non è un consiglio finanziario).
Hive ha tanti progetti, tante Dapps, tanti bravi sviluppatori, tanti utenti che pubblicano contenuti di qualità e soprattutto ha una forte e grande comunità. E' questo il momento di essere ancora più attivi rispetto al passato. E' questo il momento di promuovere Hive ancora di più di prima. E' questo il momento di continuare ad essere parte attiva di un progetto realmente decentralizzato e di valore! Per chi come me crede nel progetto di Hive e guarda al medio-lungo periodo il valore di HIVE attuale non è un problema ma è decisamente un'opportunità! ;)

Puoi continuare ad essere un semplice numero, una semplice fonte di dati e ricchezza per progetti centralizzati come Facebook & Co. senza ricevere nulla o quasi nulla in cambio.
Puoi scegliere di essere libero, puoi scegliere di avere la piena proprietà dei tuoi dati e dei tuoi contenuti e puoi iniziare la tua avventura su Hive.
Ciò che rende la blockchain di Hive più unica che rara sono le sue peculiarità:
