The next blockchain-based games I'll try out: Farming Tales, Hashkings and Star Atlas / Tre progetti interessanti: Farming Tales, Hashkings e Star Atlas (ENG/ITA)
I discovered the beautiful world of blockchains thanks to Hive which was my first blockchain project I took part in (March 2019) and is my favorite blockchain project. Splinterlands on the other hand was my first blockchain-based game I decided to play and invest in (October 2019).
The year 2021 is coming to an end and today, after two years, I can say with pride and conviction that I was lucky but also smart to choose and believe in Hive and Splinterlands.
Splinterlands is my favorite blockchain game but it's not the only game I play. I've tried other blockchain-based games developed on both Hive and other blockchain platforms.
Games developed on blockchain platforms other than Hive that I tried were:

Although for different reasons none of the three games listed above have excited me much, and that's why I've never published a post or tutorial about these games on my Hive blog. If I do play them from time to time, it's only for one goal: to earn some tokens and NFTs.
I have always avoided games developed on the Ethereum blockchain because the ETH blockchain has big scalability problems and above all has very high transaction costs that in my opinion clash with the concept of the game that should entertain and not create "frustration" when you want to make a transaction but you don't do it because the cost is too high.
Here's why I consider the Hive blockchain to be the ideal environment for blockchain-based game development: Hive is fast and has no transaction costs.
The games built and developed on Hive's blockchain that I have decided to play and invest in are:
Of each of the games listed above, I have published posts, tutorials, and reports on my Hive blog. They are all games that I enjoy even though I have been neglecting Dcity for a while now but it provides me with a daily passive income. Splinterlands and Rising Star are my two favorite games and they are also the projects that are most active and present on the Hive blockchain because they publish frequent posts, support players who publish game-related content and organize contests and giveaways with some regularity.
Usually my posts related to blockchain-based games have as their main topic a game I've already tried or an aspect of a game I know pretty well. Today instead I want to share the list of games that I haven't tried yet but that I would like in the near future.

Farming Tales

On the list of games I'd like to try and will soon is definitely Farming Tales. Farming Tales is an NFT-based farming game created and developed on the WAX blockchain.

Farming Tales has a peculiarity that differentiates it from other blockchain-based games with the same theme: it uses the Unity graphics engine which gives the game a more playful and interactive aspect.
The graphics are very nice and the background music is pleasant.
Even if Farming Tales is not a game developed on my beloved Hive it is a project present and active on Hive because it has created a community: https://peakd.com/c/hive-151527/created
The main account is @farmingtales who is one of four Farming Tales community admins on Hive. The other admins are @discovery-it, @mcdual, @lycos
The fact that the admins include @discovery-it who is a Hive witness and is also a fine Hive community that has long been focused on supporting new users and supporting quality content posted on Hive is definitely an added value that the Farming Tales game has.
Moreover Farming Tales is a game that has already gained a good popularity in a short time.

For the moment I've only logged in to the Farming Tales site for the first time but my first impression is very good. By the way I found out that I already have an NFT of the Farming Tales game because some time ago I participated in an airdrop of @chubb149 who is a great expert of NFT based games here on Hive.
The financial aspects related to the game (native tokens value and NFT value) I haven't delved into and studied yet but will do so in the coming days.

Also on the list of games I'd like to try is Hashkings. Hashkings is an NFT-based farming game created and developed on Hive's blockchain. It's a game I've been wanting to try for a long time and will be doing so soon.

Also on Hashkings I did my first login and in the following image you can see the main screen of the game.
The graphics are simple but very nice and in full cartoon style. To play the game you need to have an Avatar and in the following image you can see my avatar that I bought some time ago to show that I wanted to try this game months ago.
The second step to starting the producer business on Hashkings is to buy or rent a Land Plot (NFT) in which to use a Seed (NFT) suitable for the region, add HKWATER (Hive's second level token) and wait to collect BUDS (Hive's second level token). Burning BUDS tokens allows you to obtain MOTA tokens.
So in the Hashkings game there are 5 types of NFT (Avatar, Land Plot, Seed, Consumables, Water) and three types of Hive's second level tokens: HKWATER, BUDS, MOTA.

STAR ATLAS

Star Atlas is a project that needs no introduction because it is one of the most famous and awaited projects in the landscape of blockchain-based games. Star Atlas is a strategy game set in the future (year 2620), it is a metaverse with a space theme. The game is in early development (0.4.23 PRE-ALPHA) so it's not yet playable but the site's graphics and trailer are really spectacular.

It 's the flagship project of the blockchain of Solana and although it is not yet playable and development time will be long has already had a huge success and in fact the NFT of the spaceships have all been sold on the site of the game. To buy a spaceship (NFT) you need to buy it from other players on the DEX Marketplace (Serum) of Star Atlas.
I plan to buy one or two spaceships but obviously I will buy the cheapest ones that cost around $20.

Ho scoperto il bellissimo mondo delle blockchains grazie ad Hive che è stato il mio primo progetto blockchain a cui ho preso parte (marzo 2019) ed è il mio progetto blockchain preferito. Splinterlands invece è stato il mio primo gioco basato su blockchain a cui ho deciso di giocare e investire (ottobre 2019).
Sta per concludersi l'anno 2021 e oggi, dopo due anni, posso affermare con orgoglio e convinzione di essere stato fortunato ma anche bravo a scegliere e credere in Hive e in Splinterlands.
Splinterlands è il mio gioco blockchain preferito ma non è l'unico gioco che utilizzo. Ho provato altri giochi basati su blockchain sviluppati sia su Hive che su altre piattaforme blockchain.

Anche se per motivi diversi nessuno dei tre giochi elencati sopra mi ha entusiasmato più di tanto ed è per questo motivo che non ho mai pubblicato un post o un tutorial su questi giochi sul mio blog su Hive. Se ogni tanto ci gioco è solo per un obiettivo: guadagnare qualche token e qualche NFT.
Ho sempre evitato i giochi sviluppati sulla blockchain di Ethereum perchè la blockchain di ETH ha grossi problemi di scalabilità e soprattutto ha costi di transazione molto alti che secondo me si scontrano con la concezione di gioco che dovrebbe divertire e non creare "frustrazione" quando si vuole effettuare una transazione ma non la si effettua perchè il costo è troppo alto.
Ecco spiegato il motivo per cui considero la blockchain di Hive l'ambiente ideale per lo sviluppo dei giochi basati su blockchain: Hive è veloce e non ha costi di transazione!

Di ognuno dei giochi sopra elencati ho pubblicato post, tutorial e report sul mio Hive blog. Sono tutti giochi che mi piacciono anche se da un pò di tempo sto trascurando Dcity che però mi garantisce un'entrata passiva quotidiana. Splinterlands e Rising Star sono i miei due giochi preferiti e sono anche i progetti che sono più attivi e presenti sulla blockchain di Hive perchè pubblicano frequentemente post, supportano i giocatori che pubblicano contenuti inerenti al gioco e organizzano contest e giveaway con una certa regolarità.
Solitamente i miei post relativi ai giochi basati su blockchain hanno come argomento principale un gioco che ho già provato o un aspetto di un gioco che conosco abbastanza bene. Nella lista dei giochi che vorrei provare e lo farò presto c'è sicuramente Farming Tales. Farming Tales è un gioco di farming basato su NFT creato e sviluppato sulla blockchain WAX.

Farming Tales ha una particolarità che lo contraddistingue da altri giochi basati su blockchain che hanno lo stesso tema: utilizza il motore grafico Unity che dà al gioco un aspetto ludico e interattivo maggiore.

Inoltre Farming Tales è un gioco che ha ottenuto in poco tempo già una buona popolarità.

Per il momento ho solo fatto un primo login sul sito di Farming Tales ma la mia prima impressione è molto buona. Nella lista dei giochi che vorrei provare c'è anche Hashkings. Hashkings è un gioco di farming basato su NFT creato e sviluppato sulla blockchain di Hive. E' un gioco che volevo provare da tempo e lo farò presto.

Anche su Hashkings ho fatto il mio primo login e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere la schermata principale del gioco.
La grafica è semplice ma molto carina e in pieno stile cartoon. Per giocare è necessario avere un Avatar e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il mio avatar che ho comprato tempo fa a dimostrazione del fatto che volevo provare questo gioco già mesi fa.
Il secondo passo per iniziare l'attività di produttore su Hashkings è di acquistare o noleggiare un Land Plot (NFT) in cui utilizzare un Seed (NFT) adatto alla regione, aggiungere HKWATER (token di secondo livello di Hive) e aspettare di raccogliere BUDS (token di secondo livello di Hive). Bruciare i token BUDS permette di ottenere i token MOTA.
Nel gioco di Hashkings ci sono quindi 5 tipi di NFT (Avatar, Land Plot, Seed, Consumables, Water) e tre tipi di token di secondo livello di Hive: HKWATER, BUDS, MOTA.

Star Atlas è un progetto che non ha bisogno di presentazioni perchè è uno dei progetti più famosi e attesi nel panorama dei giochi basati su blockchain. Star Atlas è un gioco di strategia ambientato nel futuro (anno 2620), è un metaverso a tema spaziale. Il gioco è in una fase di sviluppo iniziale (0.4.23 PRE-ALPHA) e quindi non è ancora giocabile ma la grafica del sito e il trailer sono davvero spettacolari.

E' il progetto di punta della blockchain di Solana e nonostante non sia ancora giocabile e i tempi per lo sviluppo saranno lunghi ha già riscosso un enorme successo e infatti gli NFT delle navicelle spaziali sono stati tutti venduti sul sito del gioco. Per acquistare una navicella spaziale (NFT) è necessario acquistarla da altri giocatori sul DEX Marketplace (Serum) di Star Atlas.
Ho intenzione di comprare una o due navicelle ma ovviamente comprerò le più economiche che costano intorno ai 20$.

* I giochi basati su blockchain sono la mia passione e oggi ho voluto condividere la lista dei giochi che vorrei aggiungere ai giochi che attualmente utilizzo.
