Online Work in the Morning and Offline Gig in the Afternoon!

I have to be honest right away about the fact that I enjoy being entirely in charge of my schedule. The offline gig has been a fun learning experience but I am glad it is just temporary.

My preference for the offline gig was being able to work there in the afternoon. That way by the time I left I was able to complete my larger and more important online tasks. When I worked there in the morning and came back home in the afternoon it was a bit more of a challenge to switch gears.

Tried Something New for Appointment Scheduling at the Offline Job!

Most of this week, Chris, my cousin the accountant only wanted us scheduling 15 minute blocks for people to come and pick up and sign their tax returns. Thursday while I was working I went into the calendar app and looked at all of the hours where he didn't have regular client appointments and wrote out the 15 minute blocks on a sheet of paper. That way when the clients called back to schedule their pick up appointments I just filled them in on the paper while I was on the phone with them. Then when I was off the phone I entered their appointment on the app and crossed them off the sheet of paper after making a note that they were on the calendar.

Even Though it First Seemed Silly to add an Extra Step to My Work

It really made things easier. For some reason when I stopped talking while trying to scroll through the calendar when I was on the phone, the client would think I hung up on them. Um, sorry sir/ma'am but I was focused on trying to find you an appointment time and I can't do that and make small talk at the same time. No, I did not say that out loud. It was tempting but I still have somewhat of a filter.

The little extra step shortened the amount of time I had to be on the phone which I liked, very much. And I didn't have to get motion sickness trying to quickly scroll through the calendar app with a client on the other end of the phone. Even better!

I invested most of my purchased Hive for more HE-Index this week again! I really like the passive returns!

Friday Buy Day 3/18 2022 Fiat investment got me 12.081 Hive this week Sold some other tokens to get to 14.08155866 HIVE

Index as of 3/12: 1355.37726985 Bought 15.54 More Index
Holding 1375.76556537 HE-Index
124.23443463 away from Goal of 1500 Index 91% of my Goal

Bought 1 More CHAOS @3.33 HIVE Holding 6 CHAOS Now which I will keep holding instead of opening the packs since I am not playing Splinterlands. I am saving a little too by buying them in Hive-Engine.

I am really leaning toward investing more fiat every week for my dollar cost average. I just haven't decided how much more. I am using Coinbase to buy Litecoin and convert to Hive. The fees bring my what I have to buy with down to around 10 and a half dollars every week. There haven't been any videos to watch there to get more crypto to trade.

Still Moving Slowly Toward My Dolphin Goal for Hive Power

I am sitting at 4580.811 HP. That is all from claiming my rewards for posting, commenting, and upvoting from the the week before.

5,000 - 4580.811 = 419.189 left or 91.6% there.
I just looked at the Hive price right now and it is sitting at about 93.1 cents each. It would cost me around $390. Yeah, that's not happening.

Haven't Spent Much of Any Time on Rising Star This Week!

I tried using the app on my phone but I can't see it as well. I like using my laptop way better for everything I do online. And I can have more tabs open on my laptop as well as having the extra large external monitor. I will probably have a little time this weekend to run some missions.

That's all I have for this Week.

Keeping track of what I do everyday is making things much easier for me. I could wonder why I haven't done that all along or I can just be happy that I am doing it now. I choose being happy that I am doing it now.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend and have a great week ahead!
